I stared down at Murphy's limp body. I had the urge to laugh but I restrained myself. He always acted so tough and he was just beaten up by a girl. The guards had restrained me again but stopped when someone yelled my name.
"CLARKE!" a familiar voice yelled.
I turned to se my mother rushing towards me. I can't believe she looks so untouched by the fact that dad was dead. I hated her right now. She didn't even show up to see her own husband get floated. I looked her inthe eyes and she returned the look horrified. I looked at the crowd and realized they were watching us even Bell who looked confused and horrified at the same time. I made eye contact with him and smiled then turned my attention back to my mother.
"Yes mother?" replied back packing all sarcasm and posion I could into my words.
"Out of all of the days to do this you chose today?" She said looking pained.
"Oh please mom don't talk to me like you actually care about today. You didn't even bother to show up!" I said to her with anger in my voice.
She looked at me and her hand cracked against my face. "HOW DARE YOU CLARKE!" she yelled. I could hear the gasps of the croed and for a second I had forgotten they were there.
My face still stung but not as much as the hatred burning inside me towards my mother did. "I hate you! I hate you for making me go through this alone and I hate you because you act as if it doesn't effect you. You're a cold-hearted bitch and I hate you!" I looked at all of the people and they stared back at me all looking confused and shocked. I then turned and made my way to a prisoner cell also known as my new home.
