Taehyung's pov :

I was walking down the hallway to get to the lake and meet the other members as soon as possible but the doctor stopped me on my way.

Doctor : Taehyung listen!!
Taehyung : ( turns around) yes doctor?
Doctor : Taehyung umm can I have your 2 minutes?
Taehyung : sure doctor what do you want to say?
Doctor: ah it's hard to say it but Taehyung I just got Jungkook's test reports and things are....
Taehyung: things are what!? **panicking**
Doctor: calm down Taehyung... It's just that he-he is suffering a swear heart disease..

Taehyung stands blank without any expressions or feelings.

Doctor : he-he is suffering on the 4th stage of pulmonary hypertension. All of his symptoms prove that Taehyung. He can barely survive another month. We need a heart transplant - surgery..

Taehyung : ...............

Doctor : Taehyung I am literally so sorry..
Taehyung : *smiles sadly* God~why us only hm?
Doctor: don't say that Taehyung, we will try our best to find the blood matches and heart transplants please try to find someone to sacrifice..

Huh! The doctor's probably lying.. Scoffs* how can my kook - no no way he's lying right.. But why would he *tearing up* he dials Jenny's phone number.

Jenny on phone: yes Taehyung? Are you on your way?
Taehyung on phone : Jenny i-i can't come s-sorry can you please deal with them.. I -Jungkook needs me here, I will be staying.
Jenny on phone : oh-okay Taehyung.. Btw is he actually serious?
Taehyung on phone : pray for him .. Bye..

Taehyung rushes back to Jungkook's room acting as if nothing happened. He calls Mrs kim outside and tells her everything . Mrs kim uncontrollably starts crying and Taehyung sends her home because he doesn't wants Jungkook to know about his illness.

Jungkook: Hyung where did mom go?
Taehyung: home..
Jungkook: without saying goodbye huh? Mean.
Taehyung: she loves you kook, she was actually really tired so I decided that I should let her go and rest..
Jungkook: I know that idiot and wait- MISSION!? HYUNG??
Taehyung: shh don't panic dummy, others are dealing with it, they couldn't wait more and left earlier so I decided to stay..
Jungkook: but hyun-
Taehyung : kook Jenny is there don't worry..
Jungkook nods.

The day went by Taehyung taking care of Jungkook, feeding him his food and medicines on time. Then talking to him about everything happening. Playing phone games with him and trying his best to cheer him up and to not let him know about his sickness.

The night came.
Jungkook had his drips on while he was snoring peaceful on the hospital bed. It started raining but it wasn't like a thunderstorm it was soft and delicate. Taehyung stood at the room's window staring outside at the wet road and wet cars passing by. He placed is hands at the cold window and tears automatically filled his eyes. He tried his best to control them but the doctor's words would make it impossible.

“he can barely survive another month ”

Taehyung closed his eyes as tears streamed down his face. He thought about the happy times, when no one was sick, no one was injured, no one had to fight and no one had to cry. When the mornings were as bright as sunshine and the nights were filled with moonlight and stars. When he and Jungkook his brother yet best friend would sit at the rooftop gazing at the millions of shining stars and sipping their cups of warm coffee. When their nights would be full of giggles, chuckles and joy. When they would share each others pain and happinesses.

Taehyung's pov
Why is he going through this all? Why can't everything be back to normal ? He doesn't even know about his heart God.. He who just got to know about the truth about his life, his parents is now soon going to realize the facts about his weak heart. I wanna help him.. I wanna take him out of this please God help us .

Taehyung's phone starts buzzing*

Taehyung: yeah got to know.. Thank you sooo much hyung... How did it go?
NJ 📞: awesome.. When their agents arrived ; they we're already  knocked out.
Taehyung 📞: Thanks hyung - thank you so much..
Jimin📞 : Tae I heard Jungkook is in hospital!! What happened??
Taehyung 📞: uh actually-

( Jungkook starts coughing harshly)

Taehyung📞: J-Jimin I need to go bye.
Jimin : wai-
Hang up*

Hyung we need to go to the hospital.. I am sure he's serious..

Taehyung rushed towards Jungkook.

Taehyung: Jungkook?? You okay!?
Jungkook holds Taehyung's hand tightly*
Jungkook : breathing heavily* oxy-gen hyu-ng..
Taehyung: ( grabs the oxygen mask and quickly puts it on jungkook) breath!!
Jungkook : ( Inhaling deeply.... Exhaling longer.)
Taehyung: calm down kook.. It's okay.. Relax I am here... Relax..

Jungkook finally calms down but as his breath normalizes he removes the masks and starts crying. Heavy tears in his eyes and little sobs.

Jungkook : ffor howw- long will this lasst?? I am tired hyung.. I can'tt even ssleep!!

Taehyung breaks down hearing out Jungkook's pain.

He wraps him in a big warm hug and says those calming words.

“stay strong kook, it's all gonna be okay ”

Jungkook hums in response melting in the comfort and asks the question taehyung never wants to hear.

“ what happened to me hyung ?”
“nn-nothhin nothing just a - a normal breathing issue yea breathing issue..

Jungkook again hums and says : thank you hyung.. For being here with me in the time I need someone beside me the most. You know for a second I felt like I will die any second soon that's why I held your hand.... This feeling was something like my heartbeat stopped or skipped a beat but thank you hyung for calming me down.

Taehyung on the other side was already hurt and broke. All these words Jungkook said so easily hit Taehyung like arrows. Especially when he knows what's happening to him. Slowly by Time.

The deep thoughts ended up with both sleeping embraced.
