The Sacrifice

“doctor I just want to do one last thing please call him..I wanna say my last
GOODBYE”....

Taehyung's words made the doctor emotional, he just hummed in response and told his nurse to bring Jungkook.

“ok doctor ” the nurse replied and went outside towards jungkook's room.

Jungkook's POV
No one knows anything, the doctor isn't even reporting us about his condition. How's hyung? Is he okay? Is he awake? Is he hurt? Who did that to him? No clue. I wish they would allow me to get up and find about this all. I am tired of laying on these white sheets. Jimin hyung went home his Mom isn't feeling well .Jin and Yoongi hyung also went to their work. Namjoon hyung is outside talking to Jenny who just visited and here I am sitting between mom, dad, lisa and hobi hyung. They are busy talking and I am busy with my own thoughts.

I was in my own world when a nurse entered and said those precious words I wanted to hear so bad.

“mister jungkook doctor is calling you in the ICU can you come with me please? ”

“sure” I replied with my head nodding continuously.

Mom helped me take off my drip as I stood up. It felt like heaven to get up again. I was following the nurse to the ICU that Namjoon hyung and Jenny stopped me to tell something.

Namjoon hyung: Jungkook we got to know what happened to Taehyung..

“what!?”I replied

Jenny : basically kai somehow managed to escape the jail , my men were following him but lost the track at a point . Next time they found  him beside Taehyung fighting and arguing about something. When he saw my men he stabbed Taehyung and ran. My stupid men left Taehyung there and ran after kai. I apologize from their side..

Namjoon : but gladly she arrested him again at least her men found him...

I nodded at their explanation and worry captured my head but finally some things started making sense.

After telling Jenny “its okay don't apologize” I started following the nurse again .
when I entered the room and got to know the reason for the call I couldn't hold it.

Doctor : **sad smile ** jungkook?
I who was busy seeing my hyung laying on the bed covered in blood replied with a :

Jungkook : ye-yes? Doctor?
Doctor: jungkook Taehyung is injured badly and he can't talk too much but he wants to meet you.
I looked at him and then hyung. Confused of everything I teared up and went towards Taehyungie hyung who was smiling sadly with his trembling lips and looking at me with his teary eyes.

Taehyung : kook?
Jungkook : “ hyung...” I couldn't control anymore , my tears flooded out and I hugged him tightly ignoring all the blood that got on my shirt after embracing him.
Taehyung : “k-ook ”, this was the first time I saw hyung crying this hard, he held me as if we won't ever be able to meet again. His tears were flowing out of his eyes continuously.
Jungkook : “hyung are you hurt t-his bad?? ” are you okay now??I said caressing his back which was definitely injured.

Taehyung: “no t-ime t-o talk ab-out that ko-ook.. I am s-sorry for what you will get t-to know sooner o-r lat-e-rr .

He said his trembling words still holding onto me. I tried to back off the hug to face him but he just hugged me tighter repeating

“ss-sorr-yy ”

Jungkook : hyung why are you sorry and for what?? I am soo confused... What are you going to do?? What's up in your head??
