Pt 19

Delilah's POV-
"....2....3....positive.." he says, my heart drops to my feet "ur kidding right" I say kinda nervously laughing "no...I'm sorry" he says towards me hugging me. I start crying,he squeezes me tightly telling me it's gonna be ok and blah blah blah it's not gonna be ok. I push him away but softly,I grab my shoes and slip them on I grab my phone and walk out the room "delilah where r u going?" Colson says grabbing my hand,I ignore him and pull my hand away. I hear him yelling my name and asking me what I'm doing but by the time I get out the door his voice fades away as I walk farther away from his house. I look up the nearest hospital on my phone and follow the directions,about 30 minutes later i arrive at the hospital. I walk inside and catch my breath "ma'am are u ok?" The lady at the front desk says "umm no not really,but can i please see a doctor?" I say looking up at her "may i ask why u need to see a doctor?" She says taking a note pad and pen out of her desk "umm I got pregnant. And I-I uhh..I don't want to be" "ok,how long have u been pregnant?" She says writing on her notepad "uhh I think maybe 3 weeks? I'm not sure tho" "Okay may I please have ur name" "Delilah" "and ur last name?" She says looking at me "uhm Dahmer" the lady looks at me scared/worried and concerned "I'm not related to Jeffery Dahmer ma'am" I say and she looks calm now. I hate when people ask me for my last name,when I tell them they think I'm related to Jeffery Dahmer "ok ma'am if u will please take a seat. I'll have a doctor with u in a little bit" she says and motions her hand to the waiting room. I take a seat and see I have a lot of miss calls from daphne,Gus,Nate and Colson,and a lot of texts i text them all back saying I'm ok
Colson-i'm glad ur ok. where are u!
Me-i'm at the hospital. Just stay at the house with Casie or sum.
Colson-why are u at the hospital are u ok?
Me-yes I'm ok
I ignore the rest of Colson's texts and wait for sum1 to call my name. About an hour later sum1 calls my name "Delilah Dahmer?" I stand up and everyone looks at me,I walk over to the lady who called my name "hello delilah fallow me this way" she says motioning her hand. I follow behind her "ok u can sit right there and we will have sum1 with u in a second ,ok?" She says "ok thank you" I say and sit on the bed thingy in the room. Minutes later sum1 knocks on the door and walks in "hello Ms.Dahmer,how are u today?" A lady says smiling and putting on gloves "I'm doing ok thanks for asking" I say smiling "so u are pregnant, correct?" "Umm yes ma'am" "ok im gonna do a hCG on u,I'm gonna need u to lay down and lift ur shirt up a little bit. If that's ok with u" she says getting whatever stuff. I lay down I hesitate when I lift my shirt,when she turns around she pauses. I'm guessing because u can see scars on my stomach, "ok I'm gonna put some of this stuff on ur stomach and we're gonna see if there's a baby" she says. She puts some cold jelly stuff on my stomach and takes a thing that kinda looks like a vibrator and moves it around my stomach "ok there's the baby,right there" she says pointing to the screen I lift my head up a little bit to see,my eyes start to tear up "is there um a way we could maybe not have the baby right there?" I say laying back down "well umm the baby moves on it's own we can't force the baby to be in a specific spot in ur stomach" she says whipping the jelly stuff off of me "no I mean is there anything we can do to make the baby not be there at all..? I don't want a child" I say sitting up pulling my shirt down "yeah there is. U could give the baby to adoption" she says "ok. I don't want to have the baby..like I don't want to give birth" I say trying to make her understand "ohh ok. Umm yeah there's abortion,but u are going to have to talk to ur parents and ur partner if y'all are all sure" she says "yes I already have" I lie I don't have time for the talking "ok. We can make an appointment,what are some days that sound good to u?" She says typing in her computer "umm any day before may 10th? If that's possible" may 12 is my birthday and it's currently April 20th "ok umm we have April 27th?" Is that good for u? "Yes that's perfect" she gives me phone numbers and information for the stuff and then I leave.
