Joey and his friend Brittany had got to school about an hour early to hang posters in the halls.
Brittany: Last poster!
Joey: Looks great, girl!
Joey had just put the last piece of tape on the corner to hold it up. They admired their work looking up and down the hall the had decorated.
(Joey's P.O.V.)
I can't believe that we decorated this! It looks so cool.
Brittany: Thanks for helping, Jose.
Joey: No problem this was fun!
People were starting to come in. That meant. Ugh! Class. I like to learn but some of it's super hard! I can't wait for 12th grade to be over so life can began! Me and Britt say by the wall collecting our art supplies, craft books, and various ducktapes. I turned around to see a group of tougher looking boys coming toward us. Brittany obviously saw them before I did because she bumped me and whispered 'ignore'.
???: Hey, Joseph!
Oh no. Here comes trouble.
???: Got a girlfriend?!
Joey: She's not my girlfriend.
???: Then the rumors are true.
Rumors? What rumors? Britt spoke up before I did.
Britt: What rumors!?
She had jumped up from the floor and was now all up in their faces. I knew she could take them if she wanted to.
???: The rumors that your little 'boyfriend' is gay!
Britt: Shut up, idiot! Like that's even a bad thing!
Joey: I'm not gay!
???: Prove it!
Joey: How?!
(Brittany's P.O.V.)
I hated to see him take offense to all this shit. It was truly horrible.
???: Kiss your girlfriend!!
I looked at Joey but not for long because before I knew it he kissed me! On! The! Lips! I stood there like in shock, frozen in my tracks.
Joey: There! See? I'm not!
???: Wow a 0.1 second kiss!! *laughs*
Joey: How long do you want me to kiss her then?!
Um Joey you can stop now! I wanted to say that so badly.
???: 5 seconds...
Joey looked me in the eyes. I had to save him from this so I nodded slightly.
(Author's P.O.V.)
It was love at first sight when Shane Yaw (a.k.a. Shane Dawson) walked the the front door. His eyes immediately went to Joey who was yelling at the other boys.
???: Kiss her! Kiss her!
The boys shouted.
Joey then kissed Brittany as they counted to five. Shane's mouth fell open a bit.
never mind... He thought.
(Joey's P.O.V.)
As soon as I heard 'five' I stopped kissing her.
???: Oh dude... Sorry for calling you gay!
They all laughed and walked away. I caught a glimpse of someone I hadn't seen here at school before. Must be the new boy, Shane.
Joey: Brittany, I'm so sorry!!!
Britt: Joey, it's fine! I gave you the 'ok'!
Joey: Why did you say yes?
Britt: That's what friends are for. I had to save you some how and if that was the only way to do it then I willingly did it so no need to feel bad.
Joey: Thanks, Britt!
By the time all that was over with it was time for class. I said bye to Brittany and we parted.
