The match with 6A finally arrived, the match between rivals for a year finally arrived, the match that allows us to prove our skills finally arrived. We aimed to beat them, so we rearranged the team members. We had our strongest players, with three kinds, the distracters, the dodgers, and the catchers. We also had strategists, so that makes four kinds. Anyways, I had to play, Ellen too. And we knew better than to trust Hailey's decision of making her and Julia in the same match. We have to prove ourselves and kill this! Our determination definitely helped, a lot.
The game started, with their captain, Marchy, throwing the ball towards us, targeting Sam, whose working as a catcher. Sam caught it, without a hesitation or flaw, it was perfect. He threw it back, targeting the girls on 6A team, Sara and Emily. Let's zoom back to the time when we decided our main strategy.
Discussion time...
Moses asked, "This is our last match, the most important one, it is the chance for us to prove our skills. We have to nail this. Any suggestions on strategies?" Ellen, one of the smartest, suggested, "The only rather strong player in their team is Marchy, but we have plenty of great catchers here, we have an advantage on this over them. To me, we should target the girls first, they'll go down soon. Then everything we do is to target Marchy, we'll get him if we're careful and play smart. After that, we'll target the rest, this is the perfect plan." I added, "I agree. But I have a flawless plan, combining yours. First, Ellen and I will try our best to dodge as many balls as we can. Then our catchers, please catch as many balls as you can. Then the others, run around, not only to dodge the balls if you get thrown at, but also to distract our opponents. This will play us time, to regain our strength when we don't have enough. Then, lastly, we'll use Ellen's plan. This is the best plan we can do." The others agreed, and we used this strategy. We regretted it that we even hired strategists, because they didn't do anything.
Back to reality...
The game started, and Sam threw the ball at Emily from 6A, a good runner, but not sure if she's a good dodger or not. We tested it, and she dodged it, barely though. Then Edward, from their team, got the ball and threw it to me, I didn't catch it, but dodged. I succeeded. Moses threw the ball, targeting Emily again. She's good runner, so she ran from the ball. We knew we could no longer only target Emily, so we turned to the other girl on their team, Sara, she's a fairly good runner, but better at swimming. She got tired quickly as soon as the game started. So we used that as an advantage and targeted her. She soon became a ghost.
