A threatening note 3

We set off to Diamond Hill. When we got there, we found an old house, inside it was chaotic, clothes and foam boxes were everywhere, it was dark and it seemed creepy.

While we were still discussing whether to rescue them recklessly or watch the kidnappers first, Ayden was tackled to the ground taken away silently. Nobody noticed. When we finally got to our senses and noticed that Ayden was gone, there was no sign of him, except for a note written on an old yellow piece of paper.

I see you've come to our ambush. Proves that you're not that stupid. But unfortunately, we aren't gonna let you discover who we are that easily. Ayden from your class is taken by us, and if you wish to rescue him, you better hurry, because you're running out of time.

Madeline wondered aloud, "I'm starting to feel like L is not alone. Maybe it's not just a single person, maybe it's a whole group. Think about it, the person who just came to get Ayden, we, at least I didn't smell any perfume, and if L is a female, I'm pretty sure she would've put on some perfume and I could've smelled it. The person who came to get Ayden is most likely a male, he's fierce and strong, and he won't be the only one with L. If we are to rescue Edan and Ayden from them, we can't use force against force. We have to play smart." Moses agreed, "So what do we do?"

I noticed that there was another page on the note, so I took the note from Madeline and read out the other lines, "You'll never know who I am. Ur friends are not safe. E is suffering. New Territories is our location. Lol you dumb students. Oh my god stupid. No no never find us. Girl you never will." Ivan scowled, "This doesn't even make sense." Ellen explained, "Because it doesn't make sense, I'm pretty sure we can't get anything useful from it. Look at the first letter of each sentence. Y-U-E-N-L-O-N-G, makes Yuen Long. It fits too, Yuen Long is in New Territories, Yuen Long is their new ambush."

And we started our long journey to Yuen Long. I was starting to get pretty annoyed, the kidnappers were obviously playing with us like we're their checkers, being ordered around, we've spent much money on this rescue plan just by paying for transportation.

We got to Yuen Long. 24 pairs of eyes turned to me. Manson asked, "Now what?" I cleared my throat, "There are two desolate places in Yuen Long, Nam Sang Wai and Tai Tong. I think the kidnappers are hiding in Tai Tong, they are more houses there." Hailey argued, "Then that means there will be more people! And the kidnapper wouldn't just pick a place with so many people!" I sighed, visibly annoyed, "Hailey, if you want to make sure, you can go to Nam Sang Wai alone. Of course I discovered some proof for them being at Tai Tong." I took out the note again, and pointed at the centre of the paper, "Do you see anything?" They all shook their heads. Then I used my hand to shade the note, "Now?" Megan gulped, "I saw it. It says Tong." Hailey demanded, "How?" I rolled my eyes, "Look closely." Julia said, "I saw it, it's written in a white pen, so with the note, it seems very faint. When you use your hand to shade it, it creates a shadow and you will be able to see it." I snapped my fingers, "That, is what I call a smart trick." Honestly, I was impressed by the kidnappers' intelligence, the tricks they created weren't really easy to think through.

We got to Tai Tong after around an hour, we were exhausted, but we didn't dare to stop, our classmates' lives were in our hands, one wrong decision can kill them.

Wow I actually managed to update three chapter in two days. This will be the second last chapter. I'm actually almost done. So the next chapter will be the last and it might be shorter than this one, I don't really know, I guess we'll all find out after I update the next one.
