A smile crept on your lips as you walk in the white hallway of the hotel.
It's been 5 years since you had divorced with Seungcheol. And to tell the truth, it was one of the most painful thing that happened to you, but despite of that, you never give up and instead you give yourself more love.
You still love him but that's it. You can't force a person to love you back if you want to be happy.
“Y/N!” Seungcheol called you as he walk towards you and hugged you tight.
“Cheol, it's been a while.” you said with a smile on your lips.
He pulled away from your hug with a softened expression. He's still the same. He's still handsome and dashing as ever and you really missed him.
“I miss you!” He said.
“I miss you to–”
Suddenly, a sweet looking girl called Seungcheol. You felt a sting on your chest as the girl hugged him and Cheol just chuckled at her while patting her head.
“Y/N, you came! Omg, I miss you!” the woman said and then hugged you as well.
Her name is Jasmine and yeah, she's the girl who now owns Cheol's heart.
“Yeah, I miss you too, Jasmine.” you said as you rub her back.
Today...
Today is their wedding day and you're invited. You have this odd feeling that you're hurt and happy at the same time. Is it because Cheol, the love of your life was happy?
2 years ago, you were so shocked when they knocked on your door and apologized to you personally. Actually, you never resent them or anything. You're just hurt.
Since then, you learned that Cheol was really happy to be with her and she's also a nice person. The three of you became friends but your feeling for him never change.
“Mr. And Mrs. Choi, the wedding will start in 30 minutes. We need the groom in the altar for preparation.” The receptionist said.
“Y/N, where are you going?” Jasmine asked tilting her head while Cheol was looking at you. What's with his stare?
Thinking you're still the one he called as Mrs. Choi, you stood up and prepared yourself but it was a mistake.
“Oh, I-I need to go to the washroom. You know, I'm kinda sweaty since the weather is so hot today.” you said and wink at Jasmine. She respond with a cheerful smile.
You forgot... You're no longer Mrs. Choi...
You look at your refelction on the mirror, a smile appeared on your lips. A perfect smile that can hide all your true emotions and feelings. How fake.
As you exit the washroom, all of a sudden, a person appeared and you accidentally bumped on his chest and almost lost your balance. Fortunately, he has good refelexes and catch you before you fall on the ground.
“Woah! Are you okay?” He asked. How nice. His voice was soft and gentle. You felt like crying.
“H-Hey! I'm sorry. Did I hurt you? Sorry! I'm really sorry! Don't cry please!” He said while wiping your tears.
Both of you are kneeling on the ground because your knees weakend and so your heart.
“N-No, I'm not crying because of you, Mister. It's because of him.” You said desperately wiping your tears.
Why? Why are you crying? Why did your heart hurting so much right now? Why now? Why with a stranger?
“Oh.” The stranger said and rubbed your back awkwardly. “I'm not really good in comforting someone but... If you want, you can cry on me.”
You paused and look at him. He has platinum blonde hair and fair skin.
He flashed a beautiful smile suddenly and you felt warm with his smile. He reached your face and wiped your tears using his thumb.
“You know, you look so pretty right now. Maybe if you stop crying and smile, you'll look prettier, I wander.” He said and carefully fixed your hair.
“T-Thank you. I'm sorry if I bother you.” You said.
He stood up and offer his hands for a help. You look at him in wide eyes. He smiled again and you held his hand and stood up as well.
“Y/N!” Cheol called while gasping for air. His eyes widen when he found you. He looked surprised.
“Cheol?” You asked, puzzled.
“You're here.” Cheol said and walk towards you.
“Is he.. ?” The stranger beside you whispered. You nod.
“The wedding will start soon. Why are you still here?” You asked wearing your fake smile again.
“O-Oh. Jasmine, told me to find you. She said you haven't come back yet and she's worried.”
“Oh, well. I was in the washroom. You can go first.” You said and beam a smile at him.
Cheol nodded but his eyes landed on your hands with the stranger holding it.
“Who... is he?” Cheol asked staring at the blonde guy.
“He's–” You didn't finished what you're about to say when the stranger speak.
“I'm Y/N's fiancee.” He said and offer a handshake to Cheol while smiling from ear to ear.
Surprised, you looked at him with wide eyes and same with Cheol.
“Oh! And my name is Jeonghan. Nice to meet you.” He said and wink at you.
