Chapter 8

I woke up finding Jennie by my side.

I smiled proudly at her happy sleeping face.

She looked so peaceful while sleeping, just like a baby. It didn't take long before her eyes were shuffling open.

She blinked for a second before looking straight at me, now eyes fully open. She smiled sideways at me and she yawned like a puppy.

Cute...

"Good Morning" I greeted.

"Morning Lili..."

I began to get up off of the blankets and towards the door.

During the night, I could hear animals scurrying outside.

The bears were sniffing at the door some time during the night.

Good thing that I made the door sturdy and durable, otherwise those bears would be dead meat.

The scratch prints on the door proved they used some force to get in at us.

I sniffed around just in case the bears decided to attack when we come out.

Jennie stayed in the cave mouth as she sensed my distress.

"The bears were here during the night." I stated. "Little bastards." I growled.

I decided that its safe for her, if she will stay and close the door while I hunt.

Omegas were to stay home as the alphas hunts.

The latter had to make the omega proud of them, serve them if the possibility of mating involved.

But I could wait, tonight will be the last night of the cave, we may use it again when Jennie gives birth.

It wasn't a law but it is romantic.

I came home with some fresh fish, the mountains were a perfect spot for the cave to be, because there were trees covering us and nearby rivers.

Good for hunting, bad for bears.

As I came into the cave, I notice she was playing with something. I think...

She looked up at the fish and her stomach grumbled loudly as she ushered me inside.

I put the food down and she quickly ate the fish.

She ate as much as she could, tonight she would need all of her energy.

She would crave for food for a day.

I didn't have anything left to eat so I went back out to hunt.

When I came back, I brought the rabbits I caught and the moment she smelled the food, she begged me to feed them to her. I sighed but I gave them to her, she needed it more than me.

After devouring the rabbits she walked back towards the nest, fetching a black bracelet. She wrapped it around my paw and wagged her tail.

"Irene unnie made this, I got the matching pair. She said welcome to the family." I blushed and was about to reply when my stomach growled.

"Uhmm...thanks. I like it. I better get more food, Im famished." I chuckled.

"Take care and bring me some." She said happy.

Well, I got a baby to feed. So I went out to hunt...again.

I went to the nearby river to catch some fish for me when I heard a crunch from behind. I turned quickly seeing two other wolves coming out of the woods.
