Chapter 21

"I'll see you tonight okay. The helpers are here to help and get what you want. You can call if anything happens, okay?" Lisa said as she prepared her office suit cause she's going to have a meeting with important people. Standing in front of a mirror fixing her tie.

   
       
Jennie with very big belly sitting on their bed watching her mate as she fixes herself to beauty. She feels sad that Lisa has to go to her office and she can't come with her. She's 4th and a half month pregnant and they wouldn't take any risk harming her and the babies.

       
           
"Do you really have to go. Can't you just send someone to the meeting and stay here with me instead." Jennie said with a pout, rubbing her stomach.

      
                
"I can't honey, they are important investors and I just can't leave it to somebody. Don't worry I'll try to make it quick and before you know it I will be here, cuddling with you." Lisa said and approach her, giving her sweet kiss on the forehead.

       
Jennie smiled but vanish in couple of seconds, she just can't stand it without her. She will be very lonely without Lisa. She pouted more and tears start to fill up her eyes. She tried to hold it back but unsuccessful as her tears start to fall.

                 
          
"Hey why are you crying. Is something hurts?" Lisa quick to kneel down in front of her, worriedly checking Jennie. Jennie shake her head as a no and wipe her tears.

   
     
"I just..... I will miss you Lili." She sniffed out. Lisa smiled at her sweetly before sitting beside her and wrapped her around her arms.

   

"Hey, I won't be long. You can call me if you feel lonely and tell me anything about your day." Lisa pulled back and look at her mate with loving eyes.
 
   
   
Jennie looked at her, still with a pout on her face. She then lean on Lisa's shoulder sniffing her scent, trying to memorize her smell. Lisa pulled her closer and kissed her head. She's contemplating if she will go to work or rather stay at home with her mate. Then an idea came in.

  

"How about I invite Rosé and your sister to come over and keep you company. Does it sounds good?" Lisa asked.
   
    
   
Jennie finally smiled happily. She misses her sister and she wants to catch up with her and Rosé these past months. It would be great to have them over, at least she wouldn't feel much lonely and think about Lisa all day.

   

"Yeah, that's great!! Call them now!" Jennie said excitedly. Lisa chuckled at her cuteness before proceeding to call her sister.

   

She finally left the house without so much of a hassle. Before she went out, she kept Jennie company while waiting for their sisters to arrive. The past few days has been a roller coaster of emotion. Handling a pregnant mate with raging hormones is difficult but not that Lisa can't handle.

  
She seems relief to be able to go outside and have alone time, it's not that she don't want to be with Jennie is just that sometimes people need to be alone to rewind and relax, having their time of their own.

  
   
She entered the city, raods, restaurants and buildings busy as usual city. She missed this kind of environment but of course nothing better than country side house with fresh air and nice environment.
   
   

She smiled and looked around. It's just nice to have a different invironment once in a while. As she neares her tall building, in the center of the city, she smiled proudly as she read her business name on the building. She worked really hard for this for years and build it up from what left of her father's unpleasant works. Changing the name, image and reputation for it to rise up high in the industry. Erasing all trace from the old, unrespectable and scandalous company her dad made.
