IzuJiro: Schools in, Rock out

Chapter 6

Jirou's POV

'I feel bad now, does Izuku feel that way about me? No that can't be it, it's gotta be another girl that he has a crush on, i'm just plain'. "How come you're not eating Jirou?" Kaminari asks me, everyone turning their attention to me now. "Oh sorry sort of zoned out there" I reply as I start digging into my udon. We continue talking about different things until the bell rings and we get up to go back to class.

Walking in the back of the group on our way back to class. I lag behind the others a bit, still deep in thought when a voice pulls me from the depths of my mind. "So what happened between you and Izuku?". "Huh, I d..don't know what you mean" I reply, turning away from the ash blonde. "I know that's a lie," he says. And what makes you so sure of that" I retort hoping he'd drop it soon. "You've both been acting mopey, not hanging out and when you heard that Izuku wasn't hanging out with the girl he wanted to be with, you looked guilty, now spill before I tell pink hair everything" he threatens. I know that if Mina knew this she would never stop asking me.

"Alright alright, things have just been awkward between Izuku and I and so I've been avoiding him". "I knew that purple hair, my question is why?". "We..uh....we almost kissed when I was at his place about a week ago" I tell him, expecting him to laugh at me. "So he finally found someone". "Huh?, What do you mean?" "Well not many people know but when Izuku first made it big a girl from our school asked to be his girlfriend, but turned out to just be a gold digger, Izuku found out when he caught her taking cash from his wallet, since then he wouldn't let himself fall for another girl" He tells me. The rest of the walk to the classroom is silent but just before we walk in he turns to me. "Make sure you take care of Izuku purple hair, if he was gonna kiss you it means he really cares about you". With that we walk to our seats and attend the rest of the lessons for today.

Izuku's POV

The bell rings signaling the end of school as students start filing out. "Hey Izuku you coming?". I snap out of my daze and see Kyoka standing next to me. "Uh.. yeah" I get up and follow her and the others out the door. "So you catch Present Mics radio show yesterday? I loved the first song he played but I can't remember the name of the song and it's driving me crazy" She continues, like everything is normal. I stare at her for a second and I can see she's nervous, maybe this is her attempt to move past the awkwardness. I smile at her "You mean Sarcasm by Get Scared?" I tell her, knowing the song she was thinking about. "OH MY GOD YES THAT'S IT" She yells, as she starts looking it up on her phone. It's good to be talking to her again. I can feel a smile plastered on my face and I doubt it's going away anytime soon. We walk off school grounds and towards the station to hang out at the mall. I can't shake the feeling that I'm being followed though. I'm probably just tired and it's just my imagination.

We get to the mall and walk around before everyone splits and decides to meet by the fountain. Bakugo, Kirishima and Kaminari going off to look at weights and other sports gear. The yellow haired guy giving me the same annoyed look as before as they walked away. Momo, Uraraka, Mina and Hagakure decided to shop for clothes and jewllery. They asked Kyoka if she wanted to go but she said she wanted to look at new Instruments and I needed a new Loop pedal anyway so I decided to head to the music store with her.

The store's lined with guitars, keyboards, amps and other musical equipment. As we enter a buzzer goes off alerting the clerk behind the counter that we arrived. "Well well well if it isn't the famous Green Valley, how are you man?" the Purple haired teen behind the counter calls out, making his way around to us. "I'm good Takuto, how have you been?" I fist bump the boy. "I'm fine, and who's this?" he asks motioning to Kyoka. "My classmate Kyoka Jirou, Kyoka this Takuto Hideaki but we call him Marrow" I introduce them. "Why Marrow?" Kyoka asks after shaking his hand. "Hehe well to save you the embarrassing story it's mainly because I've never broken any bones even though I've been in situations where I should have lost use of a limb" he says laughing it off. "Well....". "Getting punched in the nose doesn't count" he glares at me as I smile at him before he chuckles too. "So what can I do for you?" Takuto claps his hands together. "Well i'm just looking for some new albums'' Kyoka says "And I need a new loop pedal". "Well music's over there and i can help you with a pedal up the front" Takuto answers us as Kyoka walks towards the Albums and I follow him.

After looking at a few pedals I finally chose one and Jirou has already made her purchase and is now browsing at guitars. I look over a few times and see her eyeballing a purple guitar with a white pickguard and a black neck. "You like that one? I could probably give you a good price on it" Takuto calls out. Kyoka looks back at us and waves her hands around, "Oh no no don't worry, I can't afford it at the moment anyway". "Alright but if you change your mind, anyway Izuku that'll be $138". I start handing him the cash but stop, I look behind me and see Kyoka still looking at the guitar. "You good bro?" Takuto looks at me thoughtfully. I lower my voice and lean in, "can you put that guitar aside for me?" I ask him, wondering where this was all coming from. He simply smiles at me before putting the price in and showing me the price. I give him the money and walk out with Kyoka. "Don't be strangers now ya hear" the purple haired guy calls out after us as we wave to him.

"So where do we go next?" Kyoka asks as we pass multiple shops for clothing, food, furniture and more. "We could meet up with the others" I suggest before I get crash tackled to the ground. "Oof, oww, what the....Mina!" I yell at the pink haired girl, and I look to see the other girls, including Kyoka, giggling at us. "Sorry, i didn't mean to hurt you" As she helps me up. "It's fine just be careful next time". "So are you guy's done with your shopping?" Jirou asks the others. "Yep, we were headed back to the fountain and saw you and that's when Mina thought it would be funny to attack Midoriya" Momo laughed. "Well i guess we can all head there together then" I say as we all start walking, making light conversation here and there. I still can't shake the feeling I'm being followed and it's kinda creeping me out. I'm not sure why?
