IzuJiro: Schools in, Rock out

Chapter 13

Ok so i realised that i made Jirou say Forgive me at the end of her yelling at Kaminari even though she technically did nothing wrong so does anyone want me to change it or is it such a small detail it doesn't matter? Also long chapters mostly because of the songs, I'm not doing all the students but I will put in a few students from 1-A and maybe some others. Anyway enjoy. (Also i am aware that the lyrics are lined up wrong in the songs but give me a break im up late before starting work at 6:00 tomorrow morning , make a comment near it and i'll fix it later)

Izuku's POV

Three hours of working with my mother and we're done, though I'm doubtful about the results. "Are you sure singing it like this will make things better?" I ask, glancing over the re-written song. "Well she still thinks you hate her at the moment so you carry it out for a little longer but then make a 180 and confess" she tells me. This causes me to laugh, "It's weird that I'm getting advice for this from you," I tell her, which makes her laugh lightly as well. "Well i've been married before and i know what girls like". "True I guess, anyway I'm glad the music is the same and just the lyrics changed, I'm going to go practice, I only have a few hours, thanks for all the help mom" I hug her and then rush to get my guitar.

I spend the night practicing trying to get it right and sending the song to my band so they can practice before the Battle. To say they were displeased at first was an understatement but they said they would practice all day tomorrow. I also sent out a post on social media about the Battle of the Bands, it would be an exciting day for everyone.

Kyoka's POV

Today's the day. The day of the BofB. The day that decides if Izuku forgives me or not. But what exactly am I supposed to be forgiven for? I didn't do anything wrong. Well, it's still not like Izuku knows that. I got up and noticed Izuku posted something for the first time in a while. I rush to check what he wrote but fall a bit flat to see it's just about BofB. Of course that's what it's about. I just shake it off and get dressed ready for school, walk downstairs, grab a quick bite to eat and walk out the door to school.

Walking into school and making my way through the crowded hallways was chaotic. Everyone was clearly excited for the Battle but did they really have to make it impossible to get to class? After struggling through the crowds I make it past the door to 1-A and find my seat taking a moment to catch my breath. "Woah, what happened to you?" Toru asks from her seat as she and a few others giggle at my disheviled look. "It's like the whole student body is jammed into the hallway infront of our classroom" I huff as I straighten myself up.

The bell rings and Mr Aizawa walks in looking tired as ever while dragging his sleepingbag behind him. "I know you're all excited about tonight but stop talking" He says, death staring at us (Cuz no quirk XD). "Now before we start today there are a few things to go over, firstly end of term exams are coming up in a few weeks so be ready for that, I ould have told you earlier but you were all getting ready for this and Nezu thinks that you should focus on other things besides academic works." He says in a monotone voice. "Now secondly ther...'' before he could say anything else the door slides open and Izuku walks in closing the door behind himself as he marches over to his desk, sits down.....and faceplants on his desk with a very loud thud. He looks worse than yesterday. I hear a few people trying not to burst into laughter at this display of what it must feel like to be Mr Aizawa. It only made it funnier when Mr Aizawa reacted to what happened by saying "You and me both kid". It even sounded like Izuku tried not to chuckle at that part but I must have just been hearing things.

Class went on as usual but I couldn't pay attention. I was just thinking about getting Izuku to trust me. Before I knew it, the bell rang for lunch. No one had even stood up before Izuku was up and grabbed Bakugo by the collar. "Come with me Katsuki" he said in a spine chilling tone. Upon hearing this Bakugo's face turned pale, "Wait Izuku, I'm sorry I told her, let me go, nonononono SOMEONE STOP HIM" Bakugo panics which just terrified everyone else. The toughest guy in class being dragged away panicking, everyone just sat there. "Oh shit I just realised, he didn't say Kacchan, he used his first name" Kirishima points out. "Mr Aizawa, aren't you going to do anything?" Mina asks. He stares at Mina with a deadpan look and just replies "Nope", before climbing in his sleeping bag and laying down under his desk. Everyone starts talking about what happened, I just stare at the door, 'that was the first time he interacted with someone on his own since the incident' I think to myself.
