Megumi Fushiguro

3rd person POV

Megumi and Y/N a pair that seemed odd at first glance, and Megumi thought so too. Y/N somewhat reminded him of Yuji. Eccentric, loud, maybe a little dumb, and cared deeply for her friends. And he admired that she never pushed what she thought was right or wrong on other people. He himself thought it was weird that they were always together.

A knock came at Megumi's door at night, he opened it to see Y/N staring at him with hopeful eyes. "No" he answered with a sigh and tried to close his door again. "You don't even know what I was going to ask!" Y/N stopped the door from shutting and pushed her way in, following after the teenage boy. "Ok, what do you need?" He sat on his bed with his arms crossed, looking up at her. "Yuji, Nobara, and I are watching a movie. They asked me to come get you... And they told me to not take 'no' as an answer!" She replayed Nobara's words in her head.

He sighed and silently groaned. Megumi looked around his room and then finally made eye contact with her. "Just one?" He asked. "Just one" she repeated. "Fine. And then I'm going to sleep" he shewed her out the room as she had a large smile on her face, she was practically skipping down the hallway. It was no secret to everybody, including Megumi, that Y/N had feelings for him. He would just never come out and confront it. He didn't know why, he just couldn't.

The four teenagers sat around as they watched the movie. Y/N was glad that Megumi had chose to sit next to her, but in reality it was the closest he could get to the door. As the movie played she placed her legs over his thighs, his eyes looked down and over at her face, it looked like she didn't even notice what she did. She was too engrossed into the movie to feel Megumi's hand lay across them.

As he watched the movie, he could feel her body heat on his cold body. It felt nice and made him feel secure. He thought that was one of the reasons he couldn't push her away.

After the movie, Y/N quickly moved her legs off Megumi and stretched. "You know, seeing what we see almost everyday, I'm surprised scary movies still get me sometimes" she said while her eyes searched for her friend. "Y/N, can I walk you to your dorm?" Megumi froze for a split second when he heard Yuji and Y/N talking. He turned his head to see them laughing and cleaning up together. "C'mon, I'll walk you back" Nobara placed a hard hit on his shoulder and opened the door.

The hallway was quiet, the only thing that was heard was Nobara's rambles about clothes or other things. Then she stopped completely, making him stop as well. "You know, I've let it slide until now, but I gotta know... how do you feel about Y/N?" She asked, catching Megumi off guard. "Why are you asking?" He responded.

"She's my friend, and we all know how she feels about you, including you. You need to give her a serious answer. Don't be an asshole and not tell her how you feel. You'll end up being too late and watch her lose feelings for you while she falls for somebody else" Nobara walked away back to her own dorm to leave Megumi to think about his own thoughts.

Just as Megumi was walking to his dorm, Yuji was at his dorm a few seconds later. The boy stopped and looked at Yuji, making him stop as well. "Did, uh... did Y/N get in ok?" Megumi cringed, that was all he had to say? "Of course! I walked her there. Man, Y/N is such a cool girl. She's funny and strong, easy to be around. What's wrong?" Yuji asked Megumi. "Do you happen to like her? I mean, from the sounds of it, I think you do" he blurted out. For some odd reason, Nobara's words put him on edge.

"I don't know" he shrugged before continuing, "I might. It's just that I know I'm going to be executed but it's just that I don't want to. And if I do like her, I don't wouldn't want anything else other than to be by her side. That's all I could ask for" Megumi nodded and walked in his room. Yuji doing the same.
