"Maki! Come on, you have been training for hours! I wanna go eat!" Y/N yelled at their girlfriend on the field. Panda and Toge right beside them. "Tuna" Inumaki spoke. "C'mon, Maki, we can always train harder later!" Panda called out to the girl.
The school exchange event was coming up and Maki wanted to be ready. Typically she wouldn't be this worried, but they had the first years with them and she would hate losing, especially to her sister. "5 more minutes!" Maki replied with a grunt. Y/N looked at Panda and Toge, they gave a nod of confirmation for the pair to walk off. They knew Maki was going to go on longer for more than 5 minutes.
Almost an hour later Maki tapped Y/N with her foot. "Why didn't you tell me when 5 minutes was up?" Maki as them. Y/N stood up and looked down at the girl, they were taller than her by a lot. "Well, I knew you have a lot to prove with this event coming up and I know you want to be at your best. The only thing I can do for now is support you" Y/N said as they started cleaning up.
Maki looked at them with a genuine smile on her face. It was very different from her casual smirk, it was also rare. Maki had a soft spot and it was rare that anybody had seen it. That spoke was specifically reserved for Y/N when they were alone together. Maki's hand reached for the collar of the shirt and smashed their lips into a heated kiss. Y/N sliding their arm over her shoulder to pull her closer.
"Thank you for understanding" at times like this, Maki was very grateful to have someone like Y/N in her life. Somebody that could understand her without her having to express her emotions or thoughts. "Of course, I am the best after all!" Y/N stated proudly, causing the girl to roll her eyes. "You sound like Gojo-sensei. And the dumbass is annoying" Maki said. They let out a hum of acknowledgement. While it was true that Gojo could be annoying, Y/N was grateful to the man because he taught them everything they knew.
After getting some food, they were now in Maki's room. "What do you think of Kugisaki?" Maki asked Y/N. "The first year? I think she's strong. Very determined. I like her attitude. She had this whole, "I don't need saving from men" thing going on, I think it's very refreshing in the work of Jujutsu" Y/N answered without missing a beat. One thing that they would admit was that the first years had great potential. "Oh, so you must really pay attention to her" Maki replied as she set her glasses down on the night stand by her bed.
Y/N took this opportunity to tease her. They got really close to Maki's face, their noses almost touching. "It sounds like you're jealous. It's ok, I pay attention to everybody. I'm very observant... so I'm told. But you know, you're the only one for me. I hope the same thing could be said about me" Maki smirked and closed the gap between them. "I think so too" she answered.
Y/N kissed her again, this time for longer. "What do you mean, you 'think'? Is there something you're keeping from me?" They asked Maki after pulling away. All Maki could do was smirk and lean back on the bed. "Don't do that, you'll make me want to question you more!" Y/N followed their girlfriends actions and laid beside them.
