Last Night

Vanessa's pov

I woke up by a vibrating phone on the night stand, I checked it and it was a text message from my mom ill read that later I thought. I rolled to the other side of the bed and saw a sleeping Brad slightly snoring

I smiled at the sight of him, I got up from the bed grabbing his shirt from last night. I put it on and went to bathroom and looked at the text my mom sent

Mom
Do you wanna have lunch today and have dinner tomorrow night with your father

As I looked at the text I thought it was a joke because my mom and dad split up years ago before I could even get here. I sighed and didn't answered to her text, I came out of the bathroom and I thought I'd wake up Brad

"hey" I say softly "Brad wake up" I whispered

He groans but opens his eyes "good morning sunshine" I said

"morning" he smiles

"listen I have to go, I have something to do....is that okay?"

He seats up "why everything okay?"

"yeah no its-everything is fine" I said grabbing my pants and jacket out of the bathroom and putting it on "I'm wearing your shirt because my shirt isn't that dry yet, is that OK?" I asked

"yeah that's fine, just call me if you need anything" he says

"I will I promise" I said kissing him quickly "bye" I said closing the door

"good morning Vanessa"

I turn around and letting go off the door knob and seeing Tristan "hey-hi good morning" I said letting out a small wave "Brad is still in bed" I said

"yeah I know I came home last night, I forgot something"

I turned red embarrassed "I am so sorry" I said

"it's okay, I'm glad you two are happy" he says

"thank, listen I would love to stay and talk but I have to go deal with something" I said

"yeah yeah sure, see ya later Vanessa" he says

I smiled "bye Tris" I said closing the door behind me

I got a cab to go home and I did, I went in the apartment "good morning nes" Leslie says as soon as I got home

"good morning" I said throwing my phone and keys on the coffee table,sitting down Leslie says "I see you didn't come home last night"

"yep I didn't and don't make fun of me, I had fun" I said

"I bet you did" she smirks pointing at Brad's shirt

"yeah alright I had an awesome date last night" I paused "which I will tell you later because my mom invited me to have lunch with her and tomorrow night she invited me to have dinner with her and dad" I said

"woah really?"

"yes! I don't know if I should-"

"You should totally see your my today maybe she really needs to talk"

"maybe" I grabbed my phone "but what if she judges me again"

"just try"

I sighed and texted my mom 'sure'

"sent" I said as soon as I sent the message

"good now give me the deets on your date last night" she says I laughed and nodded anyway

Brad's pov

I hear the front door shut I guess she already left I thought. I decided to get up and take a shower after I did I put my clothes on and went out

"hey" I said as I saw Tristan at the living room

"hey, I just so Vanessa" he says

"what are you doing here again?" I ask

"I am here because this is my apartment and am here to see if you are good?"

"yes thank you, I am good"

He nods "how was your date with Vanessa?"

"it was good, eventful" I say sitting on the couch

"does eventful mean that you told Vanessa about Bianca"

"well no but I will tell here just not yet"

"okay but if goes to hell, that's on you"he says pointing at me

" yeah I know"i said completely agreeing with him

Vanessa's pov

I got ready to have lunch with my mom, and I'm bringing Leslie with me. It took alot of bargaining to see if Leslie would and she did I convinced her

" okay ready?" I asked

" yeah let's go, I'm hungru"she says

I laughed silently, grabbed the keys locked the door on the way out then drove to the restaurant and meet my mom
