The God of the Sea, Storms, Earthquakes and Horses

Destruction was glory for this Olympian,
after all getting destroyed by the ocean,
was the most
artistic
way to die.

The ocean doesn't like to be restrained,
he laughed as the
Azure
Cerulean
Prussian
Navy
Turquoise
blended to make a casket,
so precious you would want to die.

The earth trembled at his demand,
the waves bowed down to no one but him.
But such potent power always came with a price.

The Olympian was more powerful than anyone,
yet he wasn't the king.
The ocean thrashed and leapt every night,
trying to drown the sky.

What use was such lethal power,
when he was not the King?

The ocean doesn't like to be restrained,
he said in an incensed tone,
as the colossal columns of water
sprang up to the sky.

Every day the God of the Sea and Storms,
unleashed his wrath with the tides.
Waves that could obliterate any city,
any temple,
anyone.
But not the sky.

Driven with envy and vengeance,
the Olympian turned his
majestic
magnificent
magnolious
ocean into a harbinger of
death.

The sweet whispers of death,
circulated through the torrents and currents.
All because of the Olympian who was blinded,
towards power.

Beautiful but deadly,
the vast expanse of aquamarine waters,
would lure you with its sparkling but macabre beauty.
It would whisper softly in your eyes,
"Die, for there is nothing more beautiful than to die
at the hands of the teal waters that would trap
your tarnished soul
for
eternity."

The ocean does not like to restrained,
the God bellowed,
as the countless bodies of mortals,
littered the once spotless ocean floor.

The ocean does not like to be restrained,
he screamed,
as he unleashed another monstrous wave
to the unreachable sky.

The ocean does not like to be restrained,
he whispered as he looked around and saw
nothing
but
death
in an ocean which was supposed to be alive.

A/N
Obviously Zeus was the King of Gods, and over here Poseidon is shown to be jealous of him. Poseidon was not the most powerful Greek God, but in this book he will be. Just another reminder that this book is NOT based on classical Greek Mythology. If this poem confused you as to who is the most powerful, it is Zeus, but for this book its Poseidon :)

EDIT- This poem is dedicated to caramelgiggles, for their unconditional love and support for this book. Thank you for making my day :)
