Annabelle and Charles landed in Maranello safely and were now making their way into the Ferrari Factory.
Charles went off to go on the simulator whilst Annabelle made her way over to the front desk.
"Buongiorno, I have a meeting with Mattia Binnotto at 1pm."
The woman behind the desk typed something into her computer, "Name?"
"Annabelle Leclerc."
The woman typed on her computer again, before looking up and smiling at Annabelle, "You can go straight up, he's waiting for you."
Annabelle nodded, thanking her. She was a little nervous for her meeting with Mattia as she would have to decide whether or not she was leaving university.
She made her way up the stairs to his office before knocking lightly on his office door.
"Come in." She heard Mattia call her in.
She entered, walking over to his desk. "Buongiorno, Mattia. Nice to see you."
Mattia smiled, "You too. Have a seat." He gestures to the seat across from his desk.
Annabelle took a seat, placing her bag down next to her chair.
"I have your contract here ready. Although, Charles tells me you were unsure as to what you would do about university. Correct?"
Annabelle nodded, "Yes."
"What is the issue?"
"I was unsure about the job. Mainly because I am due to return to university in September and working whilst doing my studies would be impossible. I am jumping at the chance to work for Ferrari, but I am not sure it wise, considering I am only here till the end of this season."
Mattia nodded, pausing to think for a second. "Well, what if I was to offer you a two year contract here at Ferrari, starting in 2020. So you will be here till at least the end of 2022."
Annabelle was in shock at his sudden offer. This would mean she would be leaving university. She loved university but this was the opportunity of a lifetime, she had to say yes.
"Wow. Yes. Of course. Thank you, Mattia."
The Ferrari team principal grinned, "You're welcome." He held out his hand, "Welcome to Ferrari."
