>THE WALLS DRIPPED with black rain as pants and groans filled the cold dim room. Thick black curtains covered the tall windows. Inside the room stood 2 brooding men standing in front of their blood-covered foe. His breathing was erratic and unstable. Dried blood stuck to his skin and hair which was no longer in its usual neat man-bun. Thick silver chains decorated his wrists and ankles like ornaments.

He was given no remorse, no mercy, and no sympathy. Just as he had given none to the people he tormented. Why should he have? He was a demon, and demons knew nothing of remorse, mercy, sympathy, or love alike.

This was his ultimate karma.

As his breathing settled down another whip was lashed out on his back. He winced at the pain of the silver metal burning the skin on his back, arms, and legs. His torment had been going on for hours now, but it was well deserved. What he had done was unforgivable.

Abruptly his sweat-soaked hair was balled into a fist and snatched back, forcing him to look at the leader of the species his people hated the most.

Sorin Khan, King of the shifters. Protector of the twin suns, and the bringers of the day and night sky.

The demon glared cautiously into the leader's eyes. Which were no longer their usual sapphire blue, they were now pitched blue and filled with a dangerous ocean of hatred. His mouth formed a straight line as he looked at the pathetic creature unamused. The demon looked back at him with a snarky smirk, earning a scoff of distaste from Sorin.

"We're going to ask one more time. Why did your leader send you?" He asked circling him like a shark, one wrong move and he was his next meal.

A menacing laugh filled the empty room, the ragged man leaned his head back grinning at the black diamond chandelier that hung ominously above his head. Moving slightly even without any flow of air.

"You have no idea what's coming for you? Aw, poor dog. You'll know soon enou-" A strong strip of pain was sent through his body as black blood started to cover more of his already battered body. He winced and groaned at the pain but kept an unruffled face. "Your methods are weak. You should be thanking me for what I did." The demon spoke spitting out more black liquid.

A loud roar like laugh bellowed through the room. Sorin wiped an imaginary tear away from his eye before going back to a stoic expression. "I always knew you Demons were idiots, but you take the damn cake. I should thank you for what you did?!" Sorin growled out, he bent back down to his level looking him directly in the eye.

"Why should I thank you for murdering one of my packs pregnant members, why should I thank you for stealing a life that hasn't even seen the light of day?" His expression changed from a stoic look to a repulsed look.

The Demon leaned his head back looking back at Sorin with a dirty gaze. "Yes, I was being nice by serving you a warning." Sorin's eyebrows knitted close together as he scrunched his nose in distaste.
