Lakshmi Narayana? The divine couple that stole my heart with their cuteness? Why was their name engraved on the back of the pendant? I hadn't seen it before and swear I looked at it properly! Rubbing my eyes with dismissal, I tucked the pendant in and looked up at Akka who still had a wide smile on her face.

I looked towards where there was a clock and realized it was almost time for the flight. Grabbing Akka's hand, I practically dragged her near the place to board our flight and took my seat in one of the chairs, sighing with relief. We still had plenty of time for our flight one could say, but according to me, we were behind schedule.

I needed at least a good 4 hours to go over what happened and find out who my mystery man was. Part of me wanted to say it was Krishna but I knew that was next to impossible. Why would he choose to come now? That too while he probably has better things to do.

"Akka," I said while tapping Akka's shoulder. She looked up from her phone and turned to face me. "Did the......Does the pendant on the necklace have any writing?"

"I'm not sure Kanna, but Amma didn't mention anything about writing," She replied with a puzzled look on her face.

Nodding a thank you, I glanced at the floor confused whether I was being given some sort of sign or I was going absolutely insane. Most likely the latter one.

I decided to put off all of these thoughts for a while and simply immerse myself in the lyrics and beauty of one of my favorite songs, Connecting my earphones to my phone, I played the song, making sure to turn up the volume.

When I closed my eyes during the chorus, I was in a vast forest wearing a simple lehenga and floral jewelry contrasting to the hoodie and sweats that I was currently wearing. I felt like I was in control of the scene yet I felt I was not. My legs walked me through the forest, passing the chirping of birds who seemed to be singing to a tune.

"Narayana Narayana," said a voice that was so sweet to the ears and so drenched with Bhakti that I wanted to hear it again.

Looking around in all directions, I wanted to find the origin of the voice, only to find a man walking through the grass carrying both a veena and cymbals in his hand.

"Rishiraj Narada Muni?" I felt my lips speak with astonishment and surprise. "My humblest greeting. But what are you doing here? Better question, what am I doing here?"

"My greetings to you too Devi," he replied with a smile dancing on his lips. "I have come here upon my Prabhu's request,"

I could feel my eyes glisten with tears of happiness. My life had found its purpose, I had found my purpose. My Kanha had some plans and although I was scared, I was excited than ever.

Rishiraj handed over a papyrus that glowed brighter than the Sun, blinding my eyes.

"Haripriya, the flight's going to leave!" I heard Akka frantically shouting.

Akka? Why is she in the forest with me?

Adjusting my eyes, I looked at my surroundings, I realized that I was no longer in a forest, nor was I wearing any lehenga. I was back at the airport waiting for a flight. A flight that I was soon about to miss!

Mumbling a quick sorry, I sprinted to where we were supposed to board our flight and showed the flight attendant my boarding pass. Looking back to see if Akka was behind, I was walked in and took my seat beside the window.

After getting settled in, I rummaged through my bag in hopes of finding the papyrus that I had been given by Rishiraj in my dream or whatever I would call it. Something rough and paper-like finally touched my fingers causing a tingling sensation to run through my veins. This was the same one and I knew it. Somehow, I didn't feel comfortable opening it in front of Akka. Like it was some secret letter or something. I had to wait till after the flight to open the papyrus of mysteries.

I know it's really short! Will try and make the next one longer to make up for it! :)
