3rd Person POV:

Jasper and Evelyn had pulled apart from their kiss both breathing heavily, their lips barely a hair's breadth away from one another. Evelyn could feel Jasper's cold breath against her lips. Her lips are still tingling from his kiss and everywhere his skin touches hers, she could feel sparks of pleasure shoot through her. -At the sametime the void once in my heart feels a little smaller and I know once I meet my other mates it will be completely gone. I will be whole, but for now I'm glad to have Jasper. I knew from the stories a bit of his past, but after seeing it for my own eyes. I am so proud he was able to go through so much pain and come out a stronger better man for it.-

"As much as I want to complete our mating bond..." Evelyn started saying, stopping when Jasper looked like he was going to argue. She placed her finger upon his lips, silencing him with a reassuring smile. "I'm not rejecting you, love. I know you can feel the love that I'm starting to feel for you blossom in me, but if you like I can make your gift of empathy stronger like mine. Which will also give you more control." Evelyn spoke softly to Jasper, projecting her feelings of love and honesty to him.

-I'm blown away by how amazing my mate is... She is not disgusted by my scars and she hasn't rejected me. She in fact is starting to fall in love with me. Not only telling me so, but letting me feel it as well. She hasn't hid her emotions from me once, since finding out we are mates. Now she is offering to make my gift as strong as hers, which means ten times stronger than how my gift is now. She says I will get more control if I do, but how if my empathy gets stronger won't it be harder?-

"Darling, if you make my empathy stronger, what will it change? How will I have more control?" Jasper asked her, curiously. She couldn't help, but smile at his curiosity. -He is definitely my mate. I have always been a curious person by nature. Always wanting all the facts and information. Learning all I could, it's what attracted spirits of Wisdom and Knowledge to me back in Thedas.- "Of course my cowboy." She teasingly said, making Jasper chuckle at her. "Essentially, your gift of empathy will be as strong as mine. I can turn off and on my abilities at will, so you will be able to as well. I can also keep my empathic gift on at all times, but everyone else's feelings will feel mute compared to my own. Meaning that though I still can feel others' emotions, they won't influence my own. I can't mistake other people's emotions as my own." Evelyn said, looking at Jasper, knowing it's a lot to take in.

-That would change everything for me and for the better. To be able to turn off and on my empathy and even keep it on without being influenced by all the feelings. Being able to stay calm when Alice gets excited over one of her shopping trips. Hell, not being affected by the mated Cullens' lusting over each other in the house would be wonderful.-

"Also no one can truly hide what they feel from me. For with my empathy, I also get a special sight to see people's emotional auras." Evelyn said, breaking Jasper out of his thoughts. Shocking him with how much greater her empathic gift was than his. "How does that work exactly?" Jasper asked in an awed voice. "Where others can successfully hide what they feel from other empaths by projecting false feelings. They can't with my empathic sight. There is no hiding from it for people have no control over their auras. With this sight, I can see the auras of those around me. Each emotion has its own unique color, if someone tries to project a false emotion that emotion's color will have an outline to it." Evelyn explained, Jasper nodded his understanding for her to continue.
