Alex ran out of the airport and immediately got a taxi to the hospital. He was horrified when he read Niki's text saying what happened to Avon. He ran into the reception,

"Hello? I'm here for Avon Sadler! Please,"

A nurse walked up to him,

"Alex?"

Alex nodded,

"Yeah, that's me, what's the update on my friend??"

The nurse sighed and lead him through the hospital to some chairs outside a room,

"Miss Sadler has lost a lot of blood from her cuts on both of her wrists. It appears that she has not been eating nor drinking enough to help her body keep functioning. Right now, she needs a lot of rest and it might be a while before she wakes up,"

Alex frowned,

"Wait, she is in a comma?"

The nurse nodded. Alex sighed and sat down with his head in his hands. The nurse smiled sadly at him,

"You can come into the room if you want, you are now listed in her emergency contacts after being given authorization by Niki Nihachu,"

Alex nodded immediately and ran into the room to stop dead in his tracks when he saw how pale his close friend was. He let a few tears slip and he sat down next to her bed and grabbed a hand,

"Oh Ave, I'm sorry I wasn't here for you. If I knew what was going on, I would have taken a flight over here the second I found out you were going to go AFK,"

He felt his phone buzzing in his bag but after glancing and seeing it was only discord, he shut his phone off and grabbed Avon's hand again as he rested his head on the bed.

Niki ran into the hospital as fast as possible with her bags with her. It was still early morning but she didn't care who yelled at her for crashing into them. She immediately ran up to the desk,

"Here for Avon Sadler!"

The nurse looked up at her and smiled sadly,

"NIki Nihachu?"

Niki nodded,

"Yeah, where is she?"

The nurse got up and nodded,

"This way,"

Niki grabbed her bags again and followed the nurse into a room and smiled sadly when they walked into Alex sleeping while holding Avon's hand. Niki looked at the nurse and sighed,

"What's the update with her?"

The nurse sighed sadly,

"She lost a lot of blood and has not been eating or drinking enough. We do not fully know when she will be up and running, it might take a week or two,"

Niki nodded and walked up to Alex, she nudged him,

"Alex,"

Alex immediately sat up,

"Huh?"

Niki softly giggled and Alex looked up at her and smiled,

"Niki!"

He stood up and brought the girl into a hug. Niki smiled softly,

"Hello Quackity,"

Alex smiled at her but frowned when he remembered why they were there, he looked at Avon,
