Three years later.....
.....................................

"Come again, Menma kun."

Naruto waved at the shopkeeper, smiling as he walked through the crowded streets of the capital of the land of fire. Here no one knew he was Naruto Uzumaki, here no one one knew he was the kyubi jinchuriki.  He snapped his fingers and black portal appeared in front of him. He walked in, and disappeared from the world. His actions too swift to be followed my regular eyes.

Purple clouds rolled in the sky as he stepped into his personal dimention. His right eye was a byakugan, his left eye, a yellow iris with eight black spoked wheel. It was a dharma wheel, the ones he had seen in those Buddhist paintings. So he had named it the Dharma wheel.

Naruto had spent almost four years away from Konoha. Away from the possibility of being attacked again. He missed the pervert sage, he missed Hinata chan, he missed Sasuke, the murmurs of the massacre of the Uchiha clan was spread far and wide. He had heard that Itachi Uchiha had left only his brother alive. He missed his friends too, terribly, may be having so few of them made their bonds even tighter.

"If you miss them so much, just go then, stop whining " The kyubi groaned. In the four years that Naruto had trained in hiding, only the kyubi had been his constant companion. Though they still didn't meet eye to eye, because Naruto was stable and had gotten considerably stronger, the kyubi didn't try anything funny.

"Well, I could go back." Naruto agreed with the kyubi.  He flicked the  kunai and opened the cup of Ramen. "No one is a threat now."

Naruto nodded as he sat down, pouring the water he had served to boil before into the cup. The sun didn't rise in this world, it didn't set either, the light was ambient, always bright.

He had no idea how long he had stayed here, he had no idea how long he had stayed training. Four years had passed outside but here there was no way to keep track of time. Clocks would stop in here, if one was brought inside. Sometimes he would simply pass out from exhaustion because he used too many clones to train and wake up, may he hours later or may be days?

His brief encounter with the kyubi three years ago had made him realize something. He didn't have to be accountable, he could be whoever's he wanted to be. His parents had died saving him, they had given him life and then saved him from death. He owed them two.

He had been so cynical, so dark and disturbed that he didn't realize. The kyubi was right. He had the power, he just needed to understand it. With enough power who could say otherwise? With enough power, strength, no one would be able to harm him.

There was no going back. He had to live. Live the life they had exchanged for him. The memories, the visions, he had gotten better at suppressing them.

So Naruto had trained relentlessly for years.

In the amount of time he had trained here he had discovered many uses of his strange new eye which he called the Dharma wheel.

Interestingly, this eye's and the byakugan's field of vision were paired.
Which meant that though he couldn't see 360 degrees with this eye if used alone. When used with a byakugan, it was like he had byakugan in both eyes, he had depth perception, distance perception and 360 degrees of field of view.  His vision wasn't split or in anyway inpared.

What shocked him was the techniques he could use.

Naruto had realized one very very important thing. The right eye, the dharma wheel was extremely powerful, borderline godly bloodline doujutsu. According to Kyubbi, there existed an advanced form of Sharringan called the mangekyou sharringan which gave an Uchiha  one otherworldly ability in each of the eye. The rinnegan which he had heard fables about, gave a person six otherworldly abilities. These were the abilities of the sage of six paths.
