Blood, Love and Tears

CHAPTER FOUR

--MONDAY--

JK showed up at Jimin's locker. After a slightly awkward Sunday morning, Jimin went home and tried to spend the rest of the weekend not thinking about JK.

JK: 'You didn't answer my calls or texts last night.'

Jimin stared at him and sighed. JK was so beautiful but Jimin could not understand him at all. He loved talking with Jungkook but right now he was spending all his time ignoring everyone else except Jimin. That was not going to work.

Jimin: 'What is your fascination with me? We were just supposed to be buddies when not around your Dad. As far as I know, friends don't talk to each other every waking hour.'

Ki and Tae sauntered up.

Ki: 'Who do we have here?'

JK: 'You guys know Jimin.'

Tae glanced at him and nodded then went back to his phone, engrossed in some social media postings. Ki stared at him with a truly confused look on his face.

Ki: 'Hummm...where have I seen you before. Did we play on the same team or something? You look so familiar. When did you start at the school?'

Jimin looked at him as you would gum stuck to your shoe.

Jimin: 'We have been in the same class for the past three years... straight.'

Ki: 'Ohhh.. yeah. How have you been?'

Jimin looked at him and blinked wondering if a human really could be that dumb and still manage to make their way through life.

Jimin: 'Good, but now contemplating the validity of our school system.'

Tae burst out laughing and looked at Jimin then looked at Ki. Ki looked at him questioningly as did Jungkook. Jimin looked at Tae and he smiled at Jimin. It had been a while since he had been surrounded by smart people.

Ki: 'What's so funny?'

Tae: 'Just a post I saw.'

Ki: 'Ahhh...'

Tae looked at Jimin and winked. Jimin grinned.

Tae: 'Don't worry, the real world will come in like a tsunami and wipe out the garbage once we leave this place.'

Jimin nods then both he and Tae laugh. Jungkook and Ki stare at them.

JK: 'What the hell are you talking about? You are looking forward to a tsunami?'

Jimin: 'Don't worry. It was just a joke.'

JK: 'Anyway, Jimin is now a friend.'

The guys all stopped and looked at Jimin. It was uncomfortable and bizarre way to introduce someone to the group. Ki eyes him for a second and then happily clapped him on the back.

Ki: 'Welcome. If you ever have any questions about the school or anything just ask me.'

Jimin looked at him is dismay, he figured there was some blessings in ignorance. Tae just looked up at Jimin and smiled. Jimin figured he was just happy to have someone else around that had some level of intelligence.

JK: 'Where is Kwan?'

At Kwan's name Jimin visibly blanched. Kwan was one of the kids at school that took great joys at harassing Jimin.

Tae: 'I just texted him.'

Tae took a picture of Jimin. 'There now he knows the news.'

From down the hall a great ruckus could be heard.
