CHAPTER 14

CHAEYOUNG’S POV

Dahyun unnie, it’s been a week. When will you come back? “Chae…” I did not even bother looking back. “You know, if Hyun knows what you’re doing, she’ll probably give you a whole speech on why you should never skip your meals.” Namjoon oppa said. He is not wrong though. “I miss her.” “We all do.” This time he went beside me. Dahyun unnie’s brother’s now visit us every day. Well, Jimin oppa was the one who requested them to do so. “The house just seemed dull without her.” Ever since Dahyun unnie got into a coma, the house was not as it used to be. Nayeon unnie just always stays at her room and only comes out when Jin comes over. Jeongyeon unnie was not as mischievous as she was before but she still remained being a clean freak. Momo unnie and Sana unnie stopped being clingy and was not as hyper as they were. Jihyo unnie, I don’t think she changed, well, now she just got more affectionate towards us. Mina unnie was more silent than she was before. She was already silent but now, she can walk around the house without anyone noticing her. And for Tzuyu, she is always crying. She is used to Dahyuniee sleeping and cuddling her in bed but now it is just the two of us in the room. We actually abandoned our own bed and started sleeping on dubu’s bed.

 “Joon, we’re visiting Dahyun.” Jin oppa popped out of the balcony. We followed behind and we saw the others getting ready to go.

She is still there, lying down the bed. She looked so pale. Hate to admit it, but she looks dead.

“Unnie, please wake up now.” Tzuyu said crying again. Tae hugged her and tried his best to calm Tzu. “Where’s Jimin?” Momo unnie asked. Yeah, I did not notice him. “Did he not come with us?” Jeongyeon unnie asked. “Since when did you care about his presence?” I said making them look at her. “If dubu wakes up and it is not him who she sees, she might think he left her.”  She explained. She’s right. Namjoon already told me about what Jimin oppa said to him. The last thing unnie saw is Jimin’s body soaking in blood. She might think that he’s dead.

“Is s-she awake?” “Not yet but-.” “Then don’t call me.” We were surprised when he suddenly ended the call. “Is he alright?” Tae said still shocked when Jimin suddenly hung up. “That’s new.” Yoongi said. “Jihyo, by any chance, is Jimin at your parent’s house?” Namjoon asked but she shook her head. “I thought she was at Bangtan’s house?” She said that made the others look at each other. “He’s nuts.” “Ask Rose.” I suggested which put their attention to me. “What? Jimin is always with her.” That’s true and you can’t blame me for spitting facts. “What’s wrong with Jimin being with Rose?” Jihyo unnie suddeny asked. “Don’t you know?” Hoseok asked her. “That Dahyun likes him.” He added. “Don’t you know?” Jihyo unnie copied Hoseok. “There is no time for joke Jihyo.” Nayeon unnie said. “Don’t you know that Rose is our cousin.” She continued which immediately made us shook. Who would have thought?

“He came by a while ago. He did not tell me where he was going though.” Rose said. “Did he bring his car?” Jihyo unnie asked again. “Yep. He brought the black one.  The only thing he told was he have to settle something?” Settle something? What’s that suppose to mean? “Thank Rose, it was a big help.”

“Is he leaving or something?” I asked. “Why would he leave? Would he just dump Dahyun?” Tae said furiously. “Maybe not that.” Tzu calmed him down. “Chae, can we talk outside?” I followed him behind.

“I’m sure Jimin is fixing his passport.” He said and I agreed. “But why? Why would he want to leave? Don’t he want to see unnie wake up?” “That’s what I don’t understand.” He sighed. He suddenly pulled me out of the hospital and to a café shop nearby.

“How did you find this place?” I know there is no time for hangout but I would definitely give time if it was a place like this. It is a café shop and an art gallery at the same time! Isn’t that crazy. “We have been stressed maybe lose up a bit. We roamed around before ordering.

 “So…” I spoke to break the awkward atmosphere. “You know, it’s funny to think how we become so talkative when we talk about Hyun and Chim but when we have like a normal talk, things get awkward.” We both laughed with what he said. “Then I guess that left us no choice but to talk about them.” He chuckled at my response.

“Why don’t we talk about us?”
