A few years later...

"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to Malia. Happy birthday to you. Make a wish honey." I say to my little princess.

As Malia blows out her five candles and a tear comes down my face. Atlas takes a little frosting and puts it on her face. They laugh it's a little thing that started a few years ago when Malia did it accidentally and we just continued it. Malia turns to me with the biggest smile on her face. I gave her a big hug and kiss. "Happy birthday Malita. It's time for your presents now."

"Lia open our gift first." Says Matt. 

Malia walks to her pile of presents and I help her find Matt and Carolines' present. They got married about three years ago and they are expecting twins in a few months. I find it and give it to my daughter. She opens it quickly it's a wooden ice cream truck. Another thing to add to her playroom. "Fhank you, uncle Matt and aunt Carolina. I like it tho much." She says and gives them a hug.

"It's our gift now." Says Vanessa and I find her present. I give Malia her next present. Nessa and Chris eventually got married. She went through a phase of thinking Chris was cheating on her but actually, he was planning her proposal. And when it happened she argued with him saying he should feel guilty for cheating. He was shocked and argued that he would never cheat on her and she argued back and on and on. Till she got engaged and married in a courthouse a few weeks later. Vanessa refused planning and spending on a huge King-appropriate wedding and did quite the opposite. They also welcomed their second son Oliver King. He's only a few months old and the cutest baby.

Malia unwraps their present and a doll with her whole closet collection. I found another present from them. I get it to the birthday girl and she opens it. It's her doll's car. A kid's dream, a mom's nightmare. Toys everywhere to clean at least my baby's happy.

"Fank you uncle Chris and auntie Netha" she says and goes to hug them.

"It's mama's present now." I say and give her a small box. She smiles at me and takes the box. Unwraps my birthday present it's a tiffany gold necklace. It's a necklace with her nickname I call her 'Princess Bunny". "Fank you mama. Please help me" and I put her necklace on. "That's not the only present for my bunny. You will also go to horseback riding lessons and a ballet class like you want." She jumps in place and starts dancing. Then she gives me the biggest hug. "Mama fank you. I love you tho much"

"Nothing princess now why don't you and your friends go out in the garden and play together." I say and they all run outside. I take the cake and start slicing it for all our guests. "Talita can I help you with something?"

"I got this thank you. Where's Oliver?"

"Chris is putting him to sleep. I just need some alone time without my three boys. I love them to death but sometimes I just what to be alone. Somewhere quiet" she says.

"Well, there's a spa in the ranch where I'm taking Malia for horseback riding lessons. We are going there next week if you want to come you can."

"Of course. I wouldn't miss it for the world plus like I said alone time. I will ask their babysitter to come that day just inform me before."

"I will now can you please give these plates to our guests?"

"Yes, I'm your costless waiter for tonight." She says and takes the plate to the guests.

The next day...

I'm in the most boring meeting with Matt. We are searching for new suppliers for our new hotel. We're looking for a new one since this hotel is going to be our first one in New York. Which means I'm going to go to New York often. Since our first hotel opening, we've been really successful. We've opened around 10 hotels in under 5 years so that's a huge success. I say 'we' since it's Matt and me in this business.
