Chapter 17

"Really I can't believe it. Now the bad news"

"Well, He found out and wants to talk over dinner."

-Silence-

"Talia, are you listening to me?"

"What do you mean with He found out? Matt, you promised he wouldn't find out"

"Well he found out about me but he doesn't know about you or Malia. The only thing he knows is that I'm working for someone and he wants to meet me and "my boss" for dinner"

"Then he doesn't know about me so I don't need to meet him for dinner"

"He wants to meet the head of the company. So you better come with me or he will get annoyed and search for you. And you know that he will find something none of us wants him to find"

"Okay, I will come with you. When are we going to meet him?"

"The day after tomorrow. I know it's quick but he wouldn't accept any other day. When are you coming back?"

"Well, we are supposed to arrive tomorrow. I hope there won't be any delays."

"Lil sis I need to go now. Talk to you soon, text me when you land in Paris."

"I will" I say and Matt hangs up. I start walking back to the table but stop in the middle of the track. I see my little baby girl playing and laughing with Alice and Noa. I can't believe this beautiful holiday is ending. And we have to go back to our real life. And on top of everything I have to meet Him again. My eyes start watering and I walk to the bathroom. I lock the door behind me and open the faucet. I start crying when everything starts feeling perfect he comes along and ruins everything like always. Someone knocks on the door. "One second please"

"Talia it's me. Open up" I hear his voice. The second I heard his voice I rushed to the door and open it. I pull him inside and lock the door behind him. Arthur looks at me with a concerned look. "Baby, what happened? Who hurt you?"

"No one. I'm sad that I'm going to leave today. I'm going to miss you so much. Even Malia is going to miss you. We had a routine here and you were a part of our routine."

"I'm going to miss you too. But please don't cry because of this. I'm going to visit you when I have the chance."

I smile "You'll forget about me. You'll get together with some bimbo that will follow you around everywhere. And of course, she's going to be hotter than me and of course not a mom." I start bawling my eyes out. I'm feeling a lot of emotions at the moment. One is that I get to leave Arthur behind when I'm starting to have real feelings for him and the second I go back to my real world I have to meet baby daddy.

Arthur starts laughing "Baby there's no one who could replace you. The feelings I have for you can't be forgotten just like that. Plus don't you dare to think just because you're a mother puts other girls above you. No, I'm lucky that you a mother finds me acceptable for her little one. So I'm blessed to have you both in my life. Okay? Plus we will talk everyday together. Now wipe your tears. I will go take your bag so you can clean up. Okay, baby?" He says. I look at him and smile. I pull him towards me and kiss him. "How did I get so lucky" I say.

"Trust me I'm the lucky one" he says and walks out of the bathroom to get my bag. I wipe my under eyes with a napkin when Arthur walks in with my bag. Gives me a quick kiss and walks back out to our table. I can't help but smile at the thought of us together.

The unwanted moment has come. The part that we have to go back. We have to say goodbye. Alice and Arthur brought us to the airport and I say goodbye to Alice. Arthur is getting our luggage ready. "Alice thank you for everything you have done for us. You are a true friend. Please visit us in New York or LA and I'm going to take care of you. Also, call me whenever. I don't mind you calling me. I'll miss you so much. Again thank you so much." I say and hug her tightly.

I move to the person I wanted to take with me. I open my arms and he wraps his arms around my waist. We stand there just taking it all in. But we have to get going. "Baby we have to get going. Thank you for everything and I mean everything. You brought out an old part of me that I thought died. But we are going to talk all the time. And when I have the time I'll come and visit you."

"Mon amour I'm going to miss every part of you. Your laugh, your eyes, your voice, you moaning my name" whispering the last part making me laugh. "Talia I'm going to miss you so much" he says and hugs me tight. We stay a little longer and pull apart. Arthur moves to Malia who was playing with Alice. "Lia say goodbye to Arthur because we need to go"

"Bye bye, Arthur. I'm going to miss you." She says and hugs him. Arthur picks her up and spins her around. Malia laughs out loud and when he puts her down she gives him a quick peck on the cheek. Told you a special bond.

"Okay, now it's time to say goodbye. Thank you both for an amazing holiday. I hope we get to see you very soon. But now we have to get going or we'll miss our flight." I hug Alice one more time and give a quick kiss to Arthur. I pick up Malia and we walk in. A guy helps me with the luggage and while I check in Lia starts waving to someone. I turn around and see Arthur waving back at Malia. He looks at me and I blow him a kiss. And he blows a kiss right back at me. We finish and I take Malia's hand and we walk to the first-class lounge. I get a text from Arthur. "I miss you already" I smile at the text. "I miss you too" I text him back.

"Mama I'm hungry"

"Okay bunny princess let's get you something to eat"

After a long ass flight, we are finally in New York City. Matt comes to get us at the airport. "Uncle Matty" Malia yells and runs to him while I push the luggage trolly. "Liaaa I missed you so much. Did you have fun?"

"Yes, so much fun. When we landed I wanted to go to the bathroom."

"Baby let's get you in your car seat first then you can tell uncle Matty everything" I say and pick her up and put her in her car seat. While I buckle her up Matt and the driver puts our luggage in the trunk. I close Malias' door and before I get in I hug Matt. "I feel like everything will go down really fast. Matty, I'm scared." I say and hug him tight.

"Lil sis I will be by your side all the time. I won't leave you alone unless you tell me to. Okay?"

"Okay. Love you lil bro"

"Love you too lil sis" he says and we get in the car and Malia starts telling Matt everything and I mean every detail of our trip.
