Stiles POV
"Up high!" I shout towards Jack as he kept a carful eye trained on the fast pace targets. It's been just about three months since we've been in this world and easy would not be a word I would use to describe my time here. After we escaped and followed Bobby to their hide out a whole lot of things have been changing. For example, I taught Jack-Jack to shoot a gun and a few more hunting tricks, Mama Winchester and I have gotten a bit closer yet we're still cautious, Jack and Mama Winchester are like the best of friends, and I think Bobby has the hots for my grandma. Interesting times!
"Got it. Heading East at a 45 degree angle at 150 miles per hour." He sums up, in full warrior mode.
After finding out about us being nephilim, the camp has not been the most welcoming. Jack and I have taken it upon ourselves to hunt as many angels as possible as a show of good will, yet also to dwindle the army before Micheal finds a key for his locked door. It hasn't been the easiest but we both were able to learn more about our abilities. Our third trip is when it hit us, it come to Jack first. We were trying to ambush a small group of them that were plotting to raid one of our camps, the plan was simple, slide in take the guards out swiftly, then one by one silently eliminated the rest. It was going so well until we heard them holding a hostage in a tent near by.
Peaking through the little creak in the wood of the cabin, I see a bright red curls struggling against the guard of angels.
"Let go of me you dick bags!" Charlie growled, thrashing violently. Her back was facing us but I could see the angels ugly curled lip and scrunched eyebrows.
"Tell us where the nephilim are." He demanded, eyes stone cold and his hand rested on his angel blade at his side.
"What's a nephilim? Sorry never heard of it." She played off. You could hear the amusement in her tone as she friend proudly at her sarcasm.
"You could either tell us, or we'll burn down your camp." Jack and I freeze. When did they find the camp? We made sure to lead the angels away from the camp they should be safe.
"I'm not telling you anything." The stubborn defiance did not sit well with him as he instantly backhanded her. Before he could make a move Jack and I get ready to step in we hear the flap of wings behind us.
"Well well, long time no see boys." The chillingly calm voice calls from behind us. Without even turning I could see Micheal. He wore his usual leather jacket and boots, along with his shit eating grin. To my right Jack tenses, subtlety clenches his hand into a first. Though, before either of us could even blink we were flicked through the wall behind us and into the wall Charlie was facing. Her eyes widen in seemingly shock and horror. Ignoring the pain in my back I shoot her a apologetic smile.
"Hey char," I chuckle lightly. Jack on the other hand doesn't acknowledge her, just jumps to his feet as fast as he can. Quickly moving to stand I front of me I could see his muscles twitch in anticipation. Once I'm standing I place a hand on his left shoulder gently tapping three times, giving him the signal that it's time to bounce.
"Tell you what, let's play a little game." I smile at the archangel. "We're gonna play tag, if you catch us we'll go with you!" The annoyance on Micheals face only motivated me more. Slipping beside the angel I swiftly swipe his angel blade.
"We get a ten second head start to start running. If you catch us we'll go willingly but you have to let all the people here go." Jack negotiates. While he steals all the attention, I silently move towards Charlie. As the angel states intently at the interaction it gives me time to slide next to Charlie and give her the angel blade. With a swift tug the rope around her wrist is loosened and the angel blade is up her jacket sleeve. Once the transaction is finally complete. I reappear back in my place slightly behind the angel and toss my arm over his shoulder.
"What he said!" I agree happily. The archangel did not seem amused by this though. Shooting me a quick worried glance, I wink at him. Jack visibly relaxes and I check back over with Charlie, without a word she smiles big and bright showing she's good to go.
"1,2,3, not it!" I shout grabbing Jacks arm and flying out of there. I take us to the older camp site, the one everyone was at when the angels almost found them the first time. When we land it only took about 2 seconds for Micheal to pop up after, as expected.
"Looks like your going to have to be faster boys." He smirked.
"Ya know, that smug look is getting real old." I roll my eyes. There was a snicker to my right along with an irritated glance from Micheal.
"Oh come on Uncle Mikey don't be like that!" I bemuse. He didn't seem to find the joke funny however seeing as his scowl deepened.
"I am not your uncle!" He sneered, his top lip curling is disgust,
"You right! If we went by that hole everyone is God's children thing my parents would be brother and so would we and that's just gross. Thank god angels are more like blood brothers! That could've have made a very awkward thanksgiving coming out story, am I right?" I joke lightly mugging Jack with my elbow. Though there was some truth in it all. The more Jack and I becoming closer the more thankful I was that only the archangels were the main prize and the other angels were sold separately.
"Sorry Jackie, you drew the short end of the stick with this one." I apologize, patting Jack's back.
"You won't be laughing for long." He threatened. Entirely I was hoping for him to try and attack me. Ever since I've gotten my grace back I've felt stronger then ever, and sure raising angel camps is fun but I've been dying to try it out on this bastard. Snapping my fingers a ring of newly lit holy fire flickers at Michaels feet.
"Ah, ah, ah!" I tsk at the startled man. "Did you really think we went around raiding angel camps without a way to free ourselves incase we were caught? What do you take us for, idiots?" I moan in frustration.
"Yes!" He exclaimed aggressively. As if on instinct my eyes roll once again.
"Well as horrible as it was talking to you, it's time for us to skedaddle! Jack say bye to Uncle Mickey." I command jokingly. With an amused shake of his head he turns his back and spreads his gorgeous wings.
