                               2nd Year was going well for everyone. Magical abilities growing stronger as time flew by. Soobin was on his way to the dorm as he crossed paths with Taehyun. "바쁘다고요? 얘기 좀 했으면 해서요." (Busy ? I was hoping we could talk.) Taehyun didn't even bat an eyelash in his direction. "Try to keep up, will you ?"

                                        They headed in the direction of Taehyun' single dorm. "넌 무엇에 대해 얘기하고 싶어요?" (What do you want to talk about ?) Soobin took a seat, "그래도 우리 식으로 보지 않겠어요? 다크 매직은 당신을 사람으로 변화시킬 거예요." (Won't you see it our way though ? Dark magic will change you as a person.) Taehyun glared getting absolutely offended. "I can handle dark magic, Soobin hyung. The issue is that you think I need to change my choice to fit what you want."

               Soobin sighed. He wasn't Yeonjun. He couldn't anticipate how Taehyun was feeling. His ability was elemental. "Why is this so important to you then ?" Taehyun' cold exterior faltered for a bit. "당신은 내 결정에 의문을 품지 말아야 해요. 당신은 내가 느끼는 압박감을 이해할 수 없을 거예요." (You shouldn't be questioning my decision. You can't possibly understand the pressure I feel.)

                                                  Soobin finally understood Taehyun. "You feel like you need to prove your worth because you are a ward of the magical realm, am I right ?" Taehyun rolled his eyes. "It isn't just that though." Soobin was confused, "What is it then ?" Taehyun sat down seemingly drained. "Wouldn't you want to see if you can better your knowledge beyond our 8th Year ? See if you can achieve something no other sorcerer or sorceress has accomplished ?"

                                                 Soobin rose his seat. He hated seeing Taehyun like this. "You are being manipulated. What you speak of isn't possible. If it were possible we wouldn't be the first to know about it, Taehyun." Taehyun shoved Soobin out into the hall. "Stay away from me," was the last thing Taehyun said before the door slammed in Soobin' face.
