When the train stopped I got started for some reason and set up straight accidentally pulling out my headphones. But the way I sat up woke up Danny and scared Dawson too. "Blimey new girl what you go and do that for?" Danny asked in a tired voice.
"Sorry I just got startled for some reason," I said as I looked towards the front of the train.
"We aren't there yet it's the last stop before the school's station,"  Dawson said looking out the window across from us.
"Then what you go and wake me up for?" Danny asked angrily, tired and trying to get comfortable again.
"I didn't mean to, something just came over me." I tried to apologize but Danny had already gone back to sleep. Dawson looked at him and laughed. "The lazy buggers already asleep." He heard me laughing and looked at me still smiling
"You know Dawson for an asshole you have a nice smile," I said smiling trying to break all tension and make a friend. He kept smiling but before he could say something a girl interrupted him. "Oh my lord Dawson, baby I've missed you." the girl said eagerly as she tried to hug him. "Get off me Nina I'm not your baby anymore." He said as he pushed her away. "Oh please a little fight isn't anything your mine and I'm yours." Nina smiled, still trying to touch him. "Nina it wasn't a little fight you broke up with me and I've accepted that." He looked over at me. "Plus I've met someone else." He kept looking at me with a look pleading with me to go along with it, I was confused.
Nina got angry but she barely showed it past that fake smile of hers. "What do you mean someone new who is she who would dare take my boyfriend from me?"
Dawson looked at her then at me. "I'm not your boyfriend, I'm Hiraeth's boyfriend."
I choked on air, and then I felt Nina's eyes on me like she was trying to see through me. "I'm guessing you're the whore he's talking about." Nina sounded angry and I didn't want to feed into it but I don't like to be called names that are mine. So I went along with it and made sure it stung. "Oh ouch, I think that hurt." I looked at Dawson. "Do you think she left any bruises babe?" I asked sarcastically. Dawson smiled and continued. "I don't see any."
"Oh that's right I don't give two shits what you think." I smiled and looked at where her hands stood on him, so I got up and moved it. "And I'll ask very slowly and nicely to see if you can get it through that thick skull of yours. Keep your hands off my boyfriend." I said letting her hand go almost making her fall. I smiled and sat back down. "You'll both regret this." she stomped off to some other girls and from afar it looked like she was whining to them.
Dawson and I both started laughing uncontrollably. "Oh my, why would you ever date her? She seems like a basic bitch." I said looking at him trying to calm down.
"She wasn't always that way but then she changed and decided that she was too good for me." He smiled at me. "Thanks for that but you know that now you have to be my girlfriend." He looked at me.
"What do you mean, look I only helped you because I can't tolerate bitches like her that doesn't mean I want you, I barely know you." I quickly said
"That's true and I barely know you but if she finds out we faked this she'll never leave me alone and she'll do her best to make your life completely miserable." He reassured me
"Or just hear me out here, we have a public break up. She leaves me alone and you find someone who wants you?" I said smiling happily with my plan.
"That's true but if we have a big public break up it calls attention to you, more attention than you dating me, and if you hurt me all the girls in the school will hate you, and good luck making friends then." He said with a sly smirk
I groaned. "So either way I lose?" I tilted my head back because I felt a headache creeping up.
"Technically we both lose so might as well be my girlfriend, and it's for the public eye of the school so we don't have to do anything but hold hands kiss, and be together and of course more if you want." His smirk let me know he was joking about the last part, but as a reaction, I jokingly kicked him and laughed. "Fine we can date but no funny business sir and how will we explain this to Danny? He knows we've only just met." I looked at the sleeping Danny. Dawson looked at him too.
"Well, then we explain it to Danny. But no one else knows that I've only just met you so we tell them we met during the summer break, started dating, and bam now no one will suspect a thing." He smiled and tried to wake up Danny.
"Wait but won't your other friends ask why you didn't tell them you met me? Or when you met me or how?" I watched him try and wake up Danny.
"Ah if they ask why I didn't tell them I'll say I wasn't sure until recently, that you weren't more than a summer fling, and we became official when I found out you were coming to Bernard." he smiled proud of what he came up with.
"And the story of how we met and when and all that we can deal with later we can just make something up." He said as he finally managed to wake Danny up.
"The bloody fucking train still moving, we haven't arrived at the school yet and for so e odd reason I'm awake." He looked at Dawson with a death stare. "Why's that mate? why am I awake before we arrive at the school." Danny gave him a threatening look.
I tried not to laugh and Dawson looked at me then at Danny. "I woke you to tell you I'm dating Hiraeth." He smiled, but Danny's reaction was confused.
"Wait, what, how you've only just met her mate," Danny exclaimed
"I know that we've only just met but it's not as simple as you might think Danny," I reassured him.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT!" He was even more confused. Dawson and I looked at each other and laughed, but we explained everything that had happened to him and he understood.
"So because that basic bitch Nina you both now have met over the summer and are dating?"  He asked making sure she got it. "But Das mate Liam is gonna kill you for not telling him." Danny looked at him
"Don't worry I have that covered." he smiled
We talked for a while but we couldn't think of a way we met so we decided to make something up later but by the time it was 7:30 the train stopped at the school's station. Since Danny's seat was closest to the aisle, he got up and handed us our back bags. I got up and started to head out following Danny but Dawson stopped me and held my hand.
"Come on babe stay with me so I can show you around." he smiled, still holding my hand. I looked around and saw Nina in earshot and everyone looking at us.
So I smiled and we headed out together.
"Look at that already a costumed to being my." He smiled whispering to me
I laughed. "Keep playing and I'll be the one you should worry about."
He laughed and when we caught up with Danny, he was greeting a girl and a boy. The boy looked at Dawon and shouted. "Das mate over here." we walked over to them and they all greeted each other and then both the boy and the girl where looking at me.
"Oh right, in Dearest Liam and Edem this is Hiraeth Yoshida." Danny introduced me.
The girl, Eden smiled. "Oh yeah the Japanese exchange student it's so lovely to meet you, darling." she gave me an endearing smile and I expanded my hand to shake her but instead she pulled me into a big hug. "Oh wow you're a hugger," I said trying to squirm out of her arms.
"Yeah sorry," she said letting me go.
"Oh no don't worry I'm just not much of a hugger but it was nice." I said, still feeling her warmth.
"I'm Liam by the way." the boy said, Liam, said with a smirk on his face like I had caught his interest.
"I figured. It's nice to meet you." I offered a smile and shook his hand.
"Yeah not to sound rude but why are you here?" Liam asked
Eden elbowed him. "Don't be rude Liam she's new." Danny glared at him like he knew why his friend was being rude.
Dawson had a small realization. "Oh, right she is my girlfriend."
Eden and Liam looked at us confused.
"How you pull her you're so ugly and she is a goddess," Eden said and it made me laugh
"I am not a goddess." I tried to stop laughing
They all stood back and looked at me. Dawson realized and hit both Liam and Danny upside the head. "Hey, she's my girlfriend you don't get to look." The boys laughed.
"And we met over the summer break, and before you ask why I didn't tell you was because I wanted to make sure it wasn't more than a fling and when we found out her mother was sending her to Bernard we made it official." He explained.
"That makes sense I suppose, but come we have to start heading in." Eden said grabbing her bag and we all started heading towards the school, Dawson put his arm around me and we all walked together.
By the time we reached the view of the school I stopped and stood shook.
"You alright babe?" Dawson looked at me confused
"Fuck me, I'm attending Hogwarts" I smiled big and they all laughed
"I forgot your new here" Danny laughed.
"Oh, you haven't seen anything yet darling." Eden laughed and they all pulled me inside.
I whispered to myself. "Thank you okaa-san."
We all head inside for orientation.
Who knows, maybe this year isn't gonna be as bad as I thought.

Authors Note: sorry it's longer then the last one just got a lot of inspiration also the school I choose to base this on kinda looks like Hogwarts also Dawson and Hiraeth aren't in love but never say never. I'm kidding........... Unless I'm not 😏
