Your POV

"Yippee you're the best Sappy" I grinned, leaving to grab my hair dryer.

"Don't call me that, and you have to dry Dream's too" He called after me. I agreed, grinning satisfyingly.

The childish boys fought over who would sit in the front seat, but I wasn't going to interfere, I'm not a mother.

"No- I'm older, I get front-seat privileges" Dream argued. I shook my head as I started the car.

"I swear- that means nothing. That must mean that I deserve to sit in the front because I'm cooler" Sapnap protested.

"Wow. Maybe we should just get u/n to choose who" Dream suggested. They both turned to look at me expectantly.

"I dunno" I shrugged. "Maybe you should just shut up and sit in the back" I suggested. Sapnap glanced at Dream and dove for the front seat.

Dream ended up in the back.

"Where am I going?" I asked. Dream gave me the directions sulkily.

"Oh shut up Dream, you're being a child" Sapnap laughed.

"No" Dream mumbled.

We both laughed as I turned a corner. When we got there, Dream took Sapnap's keys to unlock the shed.

He came back with a heavy-looking box. He opened the trunk and put the box in, before returning to his seat in the back.

"Hey instead of just going to some shitty store like target, we could go to a mall instead? That way we can get Patches' things and get whatever else you needed no problem" Sapnap suggests as I pull out of the self-storage car park.

"Yeah, that makes sense" Dream agreed.

I hesitated but hid it quickly as I flicked my indicator to the other direction, and pulled over into another lane last second.

I put my foot down on the gas, passing traffic, and catching up so I could merge without getting rammed up the ass.

I pulled into a large, several-story car park. I pulled my ticket from the dispenser outside my window and drove up once the gate lifted, letting me pass.

I parked in a park that was on one of the higher levels, where it was slightly more empty.
The three of us collected our relevant things before we exited the car into the cold, dimly lit parking garage.

I walked around to the back of the car and locked it, hugging the soft cotton of my oversized hoodie closer to my skin.

Sapnap grabbed my hand in one of his, and Dream's in the other and started heading over to the elevator. I gripped his hand as I felt my anxiety kick in.

"You all good, Darling?" Sapnap held our hands up slightly as both he and Dream looked at me, worried.

"Yeah" I scoffed. "I'm fine" I smiled reassuringly.
Dream released Sapnap's hand, and walked around to take my other free hand.

"No one can hurt you, no one will even notice you, okay?" He stooped down to my level as he said this. I nodded, looking back into Dream's green eyes briefly before I looked away.

We took the stairs down to the level where a pet supplies store was. We'd grabbed a large cart on our way, which Sapnap instantly hopped into.

I pushed the shopping cart with a hand and a forearm, as Sapnap sat sideways in the basket, still holding one of my hands.

Dream walked along beside the cart, keeping a hand gripped to the side.

"What does Patches need?" I asked, looking towards Dream. He looked back at me with a gentle gaze, looking away.

"Uhh... She needs a new bed, food trays, just whatever I guess" he chuckled.

"Okay" I replied, smiling slightly at his behavior.

"She needs new toys too, maybe a little cat tree or whatever they're called" Sapnap added.

"The little towers?" I asked.

"Yeah" he nodded, rubbing a small part of my hand with his thumb as he looked around at the people dressed in trendy or expensive clothes as we made our way over to the shop.

I still couldn't get over how fluffy and soft their hair was after they'd used my hair products and let me dry their hair.

We reached the store and stopped in an isle full of cat beds. I'd started running my hands through Sapnap's hair as we browsed all the beds.

"Keep everything along the lines of black and white?" I wonder as Sapnap turns his back to me so I have better access to his hair.

"Yeah" Dream confirms.

"It needs to be soft" Sapnap said as I slowly pushed the cart along the aisle, following Dream.
"Mm," I curl a strand of his hair around my index finger.

I pull my hands from Sapnap's head as I run my hands along the beds. I spot a large dark gray plaid one.

"What about this one?" I pull the pillow-like item from the shelf and bring it over to the cart so Sap could feel the texture.

"It's soft" Sapnap commented as Dream puffed it up.

"Seems pretty durable too" Dream shrugged.

Sapnap pulled the cat bed underneath him and sat on it.

"And comfortable" he reflected. We laughed as we moved to have a look at the cat towers. We ended up choosing a grey and black one with five platforms; two solid, two hammocks, and a cushioned crow's nest at the top.

We chose a black automated biscuit and water dispenser, and a variety of cat treats and toys.
