- Boys, I think that's enough- Phil leaned on the doorframe, looking at the both boys in the room. Tommy was barely standing, huffing loudly, a tired grin stuck onto his face. Techno was exhausted too, sweat dripping down his forehead, hands getting slightly transparent, losing a grip on the sword. They both looked like they were about to drop on the ground any second now.
- Noooo... We can go on!- Tommy whined despite his knees giving up under him.
- Absolutely not!- Phil laughed, scooping the boy with his wing and pushing him towards the door.- Off to the bathroom you go, you're sticking with sweat. Do you even know what hour it is?- Tommy pouted, but listened nonetheless, exiting the room and going down, clearly too tired to just jump down the stairs. They were always training in the attic due to bigger space than in Techno's room and that enormous mirror on the wall. He claimed that it allows one to see one's mistakes on their own.
- Six?- Techno on the other hand decided to take a guess, raising his brow. There's no way that it would be so late, they started about four, maybe five in the afternoon.
- It's almost nine in the evening- Phil looked at him sceptical, smiling slightly in understandment. It was always like this, really...- Late enough to calm down and start to get ready to sleep-
- I'm twenty two, I can do what I want- the man huffed in response, trying to get his sword from the floor, but it just went through his hands. It was not good... He'll probably be out this night, sleeping like a rock... he actually had no idea that he used so much energy up until now. He must have been too focused on the training... which is kind of weird, Tommy is not this challenging to be focusing on.
- And Tommy is eighteen, but that doesn't mean that I will let him overtrain himself to death- dad sighed, lifting it up and placing back at the wall for him.- Besides, Wilbur wanted to play a game today, don't you remember?-
- He played competitive solitaire by himself all fucking morning. Not like I was supposed to play with him, but I don't remember him ever finishing his turn- Phil chuckled and wrapped his wing around his son as a soft hug.
- But this time he wanted to do something together. All five of us-
- I'm not playing solitaire with five- Phil couldn't hold back anymore, bursting with laughter.
- Techno, for the last time, we're not going to play solitaire!-
- Hey, this is not fair!
- Everything is fair. My pig army is inevitable.
- You're cheating!
- L̸o̶o̵k̶,̸ ̷I̸ ̷n̴a̷m̴e̴d̶ ̷h̸i̷m̶ ̴F̷r̶i̸e̶n̸d̷!̷
- That's nice Wilbur, but you're about to lose your farm...
- Let him have at least this sheep, mate...
They were playing a game that Tubbo picked from their pile and unlike in card games Wilbur was absolutely hopeless and just decided to have fun and take care of the animals he still had. Which wasn't much actually, his farm consisted of a couple of bunnies and a sheep. Phil's wasn't much better as he was rather focused on calming down Tommy, who was absolutely sure that Techno was cheating. Well, he had a reason, because he was fucking destrying it. He owned almost every pig there was in the game, slowly building his empire of cows and horses. At this point it was just Tubbo and Tommy fighting for the second place or searching for a way to bring fall to the pig tyrant. But they were having fun either way.
- Boys, would you like some more hot chocolate?- Phil just decided to give up and pushed the pitiful remeings of his farm towards Wilbur, whose face immediately lit up with joy. At least now he had a chance of finishing the game at all... Well, if Techno don't pull some other game changing shenanigans that is.
- Yeah!- Tubbo suddenly snapped out of plotting the fall of Techno, a huge grin spread across his face. It was rather funny seeing him switch from that ominous focus to childish joy in a split of seconds.
- You too, Tommy?- he asked his friend who was sheepishly looking at his farm, slightly drifting away. At the sudden question he shivered, snapping back into reality and looking at Tubbo in confusion.
- Wha...? Yeah, yeah, sure- he surely had no idea what question he was answering...
- Tommy, if you're tired you can just go to sleep now- Phil sighed, shaking his head. This boy...
- No, I'm fine! I'm a big man, I don't need sleep!- he tried to defend himself once again, but no one believed him. His eyes barely stanley open, after all.
- Y̴o̷u̶ ̵a̷l̶r̶e̸a̷d̷y̸ ̵n̶e̵a̶r̶l̵y̷ ̴h̷i̴t̵ ̸t̶h̸e̴ ̶t̸a̷b̵l̵e̶ ̶t̴w̸i̷c̸e̸- Wilbur stated, looking up from his new animals and Friend.- Y̸e̵a̴h̶,̷ ̴w̸e̵ ̸s̴h̵o̸u̷l̵d̸ ̴e̷n̷d̷ ̸i̸t̸ ̵f̶o̷r̶ ̵t̸o̶d̶a̸y̷.̴ ̶W̸e̷ ̸c̵a̴n̷ ̶f̵i̴n̶i̷s̶h̵ ̷t̴h̷i̵s̴ ̷t̵u̵r̴n̶ ̸t̵o̶m̵o̴r̷r̵o̷w̷-
- I'm with dad in this one too. I actually feel like I could fall asleep standing- he let out a wide yawn, sheepishly rubbing his eye. Gosh, this game took everything that was left in him...
- Oh, the big, scary Techno is tired?- Wilbbur teased him with a huge grin, almost leaning on his shoulder in theatrical manner.- But the great Techno never gets tired-
- Shut up or I'll rip your tongue out of your mouth- he pushed him off his shoulder, smiling bitterly before standing up and stretching. Yep, definitely the time to go to bed.- I'm off, have nice nightmares- he only waved, slowly walking away, his back slumped sheepishly.
- G̸o̴o̵d̸ ̸n̶i̸g̴h̶t̷ ̶t̴o̸ ̷y̸o̷u̵ ̵t̸o̷o̶,̴ ̴b̸r̸o̵- Wilbur grinned at him as a goodbye as he disappeared behind the basement door. Eventually they were able to persuade Tommy to stop being such a stubborn kid and follow Techno's footsteps in going to bed. Thankfully he bathed before, because he would probably kill himself in the shower and in the bathtub he would just drown and that they definitely didn't want. So he was just led to his room where he just slumped onto the bed, instantly falling asleep. Phil chucked at this, shaking his head in disbelief. What was he supposed to do with this boy?
