A year after losing Kellar I visisted the cemetry in which she was buried. Walking along the rows of children'sheadstones. Reading the inscriptions. One of the headstones in particular caught my eye. It was small and plain grey. It looked slightlyweathered by the ice and rain and the faded words were hard to make out.

A beautiful little boy that life didn't give a chance.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and made my way over to the newer section of the cemetry. I continued walking untill I reached a grey-pink grave with a small rose engraved into the surface.  In front of the headstone were a few small white fabric roses, lightly dusted with snow.

I knelt down and brushed my thumb across her name. "hey sweetie...". Using the sleeve of my jacket I cleared the snow off the grave. "I love you Kellar.." I whispered as i bent down to stroke a small photo of her resting on the stone.

As I stood up and began to walk away from the grave I turned and looked once more. "See ya beautiful..."
