New Feelings

Waking through the school halls I smiled at a few people I recognised from my classes. They seemed shocked, like my mum had earlier, but still smiled back.

The smiles weren't hiding the whispers though. I heard Cassie Mitchell mutter to Lucy Harker, "He's like super fit. But since his sister died he hasn't gone out with anyone, won't even talk to anyone."

I felt slightly flattered about her veiws on my appearance and even though a lump had appeared in my throat as she mentioned my sister I was refusing to let that ruin my day.

I entered my form room and took my usual seat at one of the square technology tables and glanced over at a table on the far side of the room. Most of my form were crowded around a person. Begining to wonder what was so new and excited I made my way over.

Looking over the heads of a few 14 year olds that were infact taller than me I caught sight of the source of the excitment. He had dark hair with a thick fringe and pale skin. I couldn't quite see his eyes but what I could see of him was enough for me to make a judgement. He was beautiful.

I didn't quite recognise this feeling I had. I felt an odd attraction to this boy. Something about him drawing me in, making me want to know him. As the crowd began to disperse to their seats I sat on a stall at the boys table. He looked up at me and I got to see his eyes. And what a treat that was. They were a delicious light brown, deep and seducing. I had to bite my lip to stop my jaw from dropping.

"Hey...I'm Kyle." His voice was smooth and melodic. The way his lips moved mesmerised me. For a moment I began to wonder what his lips would feel like to touch. To kiss. Again this confusion had returned and I quickly chased all thoughts away from my head.

"Hey i'm Jett." He nodded and smiled. Oh that smile. Amazing. "So...Where did you transfer from?" I knew it was probably the lamest question to ask but I didn't want to stop talking to him.

"Trinidad. It's a small island in the Carribean." His voice still mesmerized me. I couldn't stop talking to him. But then naturally it seemed I had tempted fate as the bell rang for first lesson. I inwardly sighed. As I looked over at Kyle he seemed to seemed to share my disappointment.

"Well...I guess i'll see you later then Jett?"  The way he said my name was heavenly.

"Yeah sure." I smiled at him staring deep into his eyes then at his mouth, wondering again what it would be like to kiss those lips. To lock them in tight with mine, feel them crushing me and breaking me down to nothing.

These feeling were so unusual and new to me. I had never really imagined me kissing another boy. But Kyle had me going crazy. I could see myself in his arms, his mouth gently moving along my jawline. My eyebrows furrowed and I shook my head. I needed to figure this out.  Not now though. When I got home I planned to sort all this out. Right now my mind had to to be focused on my work. But Kyle didn't seem to know how to leave my head.
