The next morning Pansy crashed into Draco on his way to breakfast.

"Oh thank god," she exclaimed. "I've been looking for you! Come sit."

They walked in and sat down at their table, and Pansy rested her chin on her hand.

"So," she began, her eyes shining. "You've been very weird around Potter recently."

Draco crossed his arms. "W-what? I have not! You're weird!"

"You have been," Pansy teased.

"No!"

"You're totally crushing on him," She squealed, squeezing his arm.

Draco's face reddened and he put his head on the table.

Blaise chewed on the straw of his drink. "It's all right, mate. Crushes suck but they happen."

He sighed. "What the hell am I supposed to do? I don't know how to deal with this!"

Pansy laughed. "Nobody ever does."

In Science, Snape gave them chemical equations to work on ("independently," he had stated, and glared over at Pansy, Blaise, and Draco).

"Do you get this?" Blaise asked, drawing swirls on his paper.

"Yeah, it's easy," Draco said.

"Hey, Draco,"

Draco shivered (the way he said his name...it rolled off his tongue perfectly), and looked off of his paper to find Potter leaning against his desk.

"What do you want?" Draco asked.

"Do you know how to do this stuff? It's complicated and I can't seem to get it," Potter asked, smirking at him.

"No," Draco lied. "Go ask Granger, bet she'll know."

Potter walked away (looking rather dejected), and Pansy began to crack up.

"What's so funny?" Blaise asked.

"No," she said between laughs. "Draco's playing hard-to-get!"

Draco blinked. "What?" he asked, confused.

She laughed harder. "And you don't know it!" she whispered. "Potter's been trying to flirt with you!"

"What?" Draco repeated. He wasn't sure where she was going with this.

"He likes you, you dummy!" she said, shoving him playfully. "He like-likes you!"

"Wh- no he doesn't, Potter doesn't like me," Draco snorted.

She shrugged. "We'll see tomorrow, I guess."

Draco glared at her. "Wh-what do you have planned for tomorrow? What's tomorrow?"

She beamed at him. "Guess you'll have to wait and see,"
