There's Another One? - Iwaizumi x Reader

Chapter 8

(Y/N) POV~
"You walk so slow," I say as I walk with my brother to school.

"And you walk too fast," he says crossing his arms before waving in a direction. Iwaizumi comes up to us and gives me a small smile.

I give him a small smile back before I continue walking in front of my brother and his friend. I can hear them talking about volleyball behind me.

"(Y/N)!" I hear Nami yell from behind me. I glance back, past my brother and Iwaizumi and see Nami. I give her a small wave as she runs up to me, "I brought you something"

She pulls small bag out of no where as we walk to school with Toru and Iwaizumi behind us. I let out a small laugh when I realize what's in the bag.

"No (Y/N), you are not doing drugs," Toru says grabbing the bag from Nami's hand, "Your friend is being a bad influence"

"You can keep the dog treats if you want to," I say and Nami starts to laugh. Toru looks at the bag and slowly hands it back to Nami when he realizes that it's full of dog treats.

~Time Skip~

"Aren't we going to walk home now?" Nami asked pointing to the gates, "My aunt's dropping my cousin off soon so that I can watch him well she does something"

"Toru wants me to wait until he's done practice so that I'm not home alone," I say with a sigh, "I'll see you tomorrow"

"Okay, see you," She says waving before leaving.

I walk to the gym that the boys volleyball team practices in and I sit outside of the doors on a near by bench.

The doors later open and the boys team comes out with a group of fans following them. I stand up and try and spot my brother through the crowd, wanting to leave as soon as possible.

I see my brother pushing towards me through the crowd, "(Y/N) we'll go home as soon as I'm done here"

I stare at him for a moment, "And how long will that be?" He looks at me for a moment before turning back to his fans, "I'm going home now, I'll see you there"

He turns back and looks at me, "But I don't want you walking on your own"

"I'll walk with her," Iwaizumi says once he reaches us through the crowd. I nod my head and turn to walk.

"Iwaizumi if you let anything happen to her I will kill you myself," Toru says starring at Iwaizumi for a moment before smiling and turning back to his fans. He seems quite serious about that since he called him Iwaizumi and not the usual 'Iwa-chan.'

"Let's go," Iwaizumi says turning to me. I start walking towards the gate with Iwaizumi beside me.

"So you've been friends with my brother for a long time?" I ask trying to not have only silence on the walk home. I'm used to walking and talking with Nami, and I would like to get to know him more.

"Ya, I've known him since we were kids," He says with an almost unnoticeable small smile, "It's strange how I never met you before"

"I have never really met any of my brothers friends before this year actually," I said with a small laugh, "I have never really been the social type so when ever Toru would have friends over I would hide in my room"

"Sounds like the opposite of your brother," He says and I nod, "It would have been nice to meet you when we were kids though"
