Again a very long chapter......
______________________________________If I was a billionaire I would have bought a house as luxurious and breathtaking as Vivaan's penthouse.
Man has good taste.
"Your fiance is loaded." Rhea said while flopping herself on the sofa. I didn't give her any attention and decided to look around the house.
Four bedrooms, one kitchen, one study room, three big balconies, extra large living room, a small library, separate gym space, personal pool, small garden.
Yes, indeed. My fiance is loaded.
I turned to look out from one of the windows and found the view pleasing my eyes incredibly amazing. Mumbai city is just incredible. Even in the morning, it is as bright as the night's sparkling scenario.
I still can't believe, Vivaan asked me to stay in this house. And the fact that I agreed easily. Though I can't deny that I am glad I did.
"Which is my bedroom, mamma?" Someone broke my thoughts as I looked down to see Shrishti looking at me in confusion. Obviously, she can't choose which bedroom she wants to sleep in.
"You want a separate one?" I questioned astoundingly, not believing that she really wants to sleep alone.
"Yes. I am a big girl now. I don't want to sleep with you like a baby anymore." She declared and I smiled.
"Do you know, there are ghosts surrounding here?" I whispered to her in a hushed tone. And her face instantly turned pale as she audibly gulped. Not so big girl now huh?
I smirked.
"G-Ghost?" She asked cautiously. "What ghost?" Looking around with a horrific expression on her face, she clutched the small bag in her hands tightly.
"Are you talking about the k-kiss fairy?" She whispered, her eyes widened.
"Kiss what?" I asked, confused. What is she talking about?
"Oh, nothing!" She squeaked, running off towards the kitchen.
"Take the second left bedroom!" I shouted "And don't touch anything unnecessarily. If you want something tell me."
Hearing me, she stopped in her tracks and turned to look at me. Blinking in surprise, she gave me a nod. I laughed at her reaction.
I will let her have a different bedroom if that's what she wants. Because later at night, I know she is anyhow still going crawl back on my bed to snuggle into my embrace.
This is not the first time she has demanded to have a separate room. But like every time, she just never seems to hold onto her decision for too long.
When I told her about our shifting arrangements from New York to Mumbai, her reaction was suspiciously neutral. She wasn't happy about it but she wasn't sad either. It was as if she already expected this to happen.
According to her on the happy side, she will be able to make many new friends in the future. But only girls. Boys here are a nuisance. Her words, not mine.
Though she isn't wrong at all.
My angel is kind of a social butterfly. There is nothing more than she likes to be in the limelight. She is not an attention seeker. Yet the attention never fails to seek her wherever she goes. Not that she doesn't enjoy the attention. Quite opposite from me.
"What are you thinking?" Suddenly, I felt someone standing beside me, enjoying the same view as I was doing.
I shook my head, releasing a deep breath as a small smile taking place on my face. "World is so big yet so small."
