PS.
I understand I had Why Him part 2 planned, but honestly, this is what I have motivation for, and this is what I will do. Thank you to my supporters. <3

It was an ordinary day in hell.

Mischief was crawling around every shop and alleyway, per usual. TVs lined some street corners, reporting the everlasting turf war shenanigans, as well as news on the Hazbin Hotel. The establishment had gained some interest in past months primarily from the curiosity of sinners. The hotel was not particularly busy, but it had more clients than before. Everyone wanted to know if rehabilitation was truly possible.

A certain deer walked the streets of hell as part of a daily routine and breather. Tap, tap, tap down the sidewalk, lower demons parting to avoid the powerful being. The Radio Demon stopped to peer at a set of TVs displaying Vox's face: his mortal enemy. He'd hated him since they'd met, and the deer was not fond of the constant promotion.

"Tsk. Braggart," Alastor mumbled before he continued walking.
It was somewhat early in the morning, a bit more reserved and a bit dimmer as the sun was just beginning to rise. He always took a walk in the morning, at least since he'd started his charity work at the hotel. It helped him clear his mind and prepare himself for the day. Not that he'd ever be caught off guard. He was the radio demon, after all.

Alastor continued with a bounce in his step while humming, a large smile on his face as always. Surprisingly, there was a light breeze. It was a pleasant time, considering he was in hell.

Soon, he arrived back at the hotel to find Charlie discussing plans with Vaggie. Husk was behind the bar, cleaning a glass with a large frown and an unamused expression.
"Why, good morning, ladies!" Alastor chirped. With a snap of his fingers, his staff was gone. He stood, heels together and both hands behind his back. "Morning, Al," Charlie said with a warm smile. Vaggie didn't do much but stare with her eyes at half-mast.

Alastor made his way over to the bar and leaned on the counter. Husk paused and looked up at Alastor, raising a brow.
"What do you want," Husk said blandly. Alastor gave a smug look. "Am I not allowed to greet my good friend on this fine day?" he said with a chuckle. Husk rolled his eyes and let out a breath. "You wouldn't come over here unless you wanted to fuckin' annoy me," he said.
Alastor chuckled, saying, "I'm pleasantly surprised to see you up at an early hour." Husk grunted and continued wiping off and setting a glass on a shelf behind the counter.

    "Sup, bitches!"
All heads but Husk's turned to see a tall, pink spider strut into the room from down the hallway. "Hello, Angel!" Charlie smiled, seeing, for the most part, everyone was up with a good attitude. Alastor silently watched from the bar, avoiding Angel's sexual remarks, though, he expected them to come anyway.

"Man, even with my effort ta get up early, you all still beat me," Angel said.
"That's all right. I'm glad you made the effort at all," Charlie reassured him.

It wasn't long before Angel glanced over at the bar and laid his eyes on the two standing there. Alastor immediately noticed his eye contact and sighed, turning his head away. He may need alcohol today after all.
"Heeey, boys,~" Angel said, strutting over to the bar. Alastor and Husk groaned simultaneously. "For fucks sake... it's seven in the morning. Knew I should have stayed in bed..." Husk grumbled.
"Awww, don't be like that, Husky," Angel said with a smirk, as he leaned on the counter. He rested his head in his upper hands as his lower arms supported him.

Alastor turned and walked away from the bar, wanting no part of the flirtation, one-sided or not. Angel watched him walk away with a grin playing at his lips and looking Alastor up and down, as he often did. He chuckled to himself, knowing Alastor left specifically because of him. He loved toying with the deer, and often when Alastor stuck around, his reactions were priceless. Angel did wonder, sometimes, though, why he'd been so persistent even after four months. He'd usually jump from one guy to the next promptly after realizing one had no interest in him.

Angel did think Alastor was a bit of a prick, but he did have a right to be cold towards Angel after being annoyed practically every day for the last few months.  Angel especially wondered why he was going after an overlord. It wasn't for the power. Heck, he didn't even know who Alastor was until the day he'd stepped foot into the hotel. Even more so, Alastor was one of the most heinous, depraved, and unbearably cruel demons in hell.

Angel had these thoughts often. He usually brushed them off his shoulder and blamed it on Alastor's attractive features and mysteriousness. Alastor had always been very hard to read emotionally. Not only was he skilled at hiding his true motives and emotions, but he was also excellent at keeping secrets.

    "Uhhh... Angel?"
Angel blinked a couple of times and snapped back to reality. "Huh? Sorry, spaced out," he said.
"I was starting to wonder if you would ever snap out of that trance," Vaggie said.
"Yeah... haha..." Angel gave an awkward laugh and trailed off. Charlie gave a concerned look before exchanging glances with Vaggie and looking back up at the spider.
"Are you okay, Angel?" she said. "You know you can talk to us."

He was a little caught off guard by that question. "Yeah! Yeah, no I'm fine. I just fell deep inta' thought for a sec," Angel said. Charlie stared for a moment before giving a sigh and nodding.

    Oh, boy, Angel thought.
