What happend? (2)

"I don't know what to do" Cameron said through the phone. I'll call Nora and we'll come and pick you guys up." He hung up the phone. Nora was our friend and Noah's girlfriend. She was definitely the smartest out of all of us and the youngest. She's 15 and were 16, she has a late birthday or something. Our only hope left is her.

I waited in the forest with Noah. He started to get really fidgety. "Noah, are you okay? Are you bleeding out or something?" A quick panic flew through my body. Noah grabbed my hoodie and took it off his wound. My eyes widened at the sight that the bite mark was gone. No blood no anything. Just gone.

I quickly jumped to my feet and moved backwards. "What the hell?" Noah said with aggression. Looking down at his hip he started to breathe heavily "Noah..It's Okay, Cameron and Nora are on their way It's-" "Nora's coming? Nora can NOT come!" He shouted. He begin to freak out. "Noah, Stop you're scaring me!" I shouted, moving more backwards.

"Bexleigh, stay here. I have to go do something ALONE!" Just like that, he ran away disappearing into the forest.

Okay..I'm alone in the forest, my friend is gone and there is a creature somewhere here. That is a new fear to add to the list. I felt the cold breeze on my back. I looked around as every dark shadow looked like it was after me. I sat down  against a tree wanting to doze off.

A few minutes later, I felt two arms lightly shake my shoulder. "Bex? Bexleigh are you okay? it's me Cameron. Nora's here and I-"  "Cam!" I said jumping into his arms for a hug. "Woah- What happened? Where is Noah?" Putting me down, he turned his head looking to see if Noah was hiding around. "He just left!" I explained.

It was a few moments later and at this point I was full of energy.  "And then I was like 'Noah stop! You're scaring me.' and he was like 'Bexleigh stay here, I have to go do something ALONE'  Then he disappeared that way." I said pointing to the direction Noah had left in.

"Oh gosh-" Nora said pacing back and forth. "My boyfriend ran out into the forest alone, like a dog. This is the end for me." Cameron started to think. Which means nothing good was going to happen. "Okay, clues are: He ran off that way and...that's all we got." He said in disappointment. I sat there and thought. "Something weird happened.." I said thinking back on when Noah got bit. "His bite mark..it just disappeared." Nora and Cameron stared at me. Cameron let out a laugh. "'It just disappeared' Good one Bex." He said patting my back. "Cam it isn't a joke.." Nora was still staring at me.

"I think something is seriously wrong with Noah."

"Do we call the cops?" Nora asked. "No we don't call the cops!" Cameron exclaimed. "What have the cops ever done for us?" he asked, walking around Nora and I. "They found the flower shop robber." Nora protested.

Cameron rolled his eyes. "I mean something that affects us." "Remember, they shut down our lemon-aid staid when we were seven!" He said, raising his eyebrows. "Cam, That's because you put salt instead of sugar." I added. "They looked the same! That's besides my point though. We don't need the cops, we know Noah better than he knows himself. We can figure this out." He pulled us into a hug. I let out a small breath. "Okay, but were bringing Emerson into this." 

Besides Nora, Em was my best friend and I knew if we got her in this. Things would go a lot faster.

"No! We can't bring Em into this! She's a blabbermouth. She'll have the whole school knowing by tomorrow." Cameron said. "It's true Bex, I love her but she is the one who told you guys Noah and I were dating." Nora added. "Well you shouldn't have hid that in the first place. I didn't like when you guys kept a secret and I don't want Emerson to feel that way. We'll just bribe her to keep her mouth shut!" I said trying to convince them. Cam looked around trying to avoid eye contact. He let out a huff. "Ugh, fine Em's in." A smile grew on my face as I looked over to Nora. She smiled back. "Okay, I guess we need all the help we can get."
