Urvi's POV
A not-so-hot summer Sunday night in the month of April, I was in my room sitting, typing out the assignment paper, with all the lights off, except for a tiny zero bulb, I checked the time in the laptop, it was 12:59 AM, I went to the kitchen and got myself a cup of tea and came back to the room with the cup, I made myself comfortable near the window and sipped the tea, earlier that day I was reading a book, '7 Secrets of Shiva' by 'Devdutt Pattanaik'. In that, the author said that "no two humans can imagine the same thing. Imagination, therefore, makes us wonder about who we are, compelling us to analyze, synthesize, create and communicate," my mind was just stuck in those lines.
*
I kind of agree with those words that no two humans can imagine the same thing, as we've different lifestyles, different thought processes, different perspectives, different aims of life, we all are brought up in different surroundings, and, we've different vibes.
Yes, vibes work a lot on it. You know, if you're a positive vibe seeker, you'd like to stay away from the people with negative vibes. Talking about social media, you're likely to block away from all the accounts that give you negative vibes.
So, we can say that what we're is solely because of our imagination.
Just pause your brain for a while and go back, the author said, "no two humans can imagine the same thing," now just try to understand it in a deeper context. You've imagined something, for say, a life partner, (s)he in your imagination is something and, at the same time, your parents have also imagined a life partner for you, I mean like, obviously, if you're a parent, you're also likely to imagine your child's life partner.
So, if your imagination is different from others, then, how are you supposed to expect that the other person will have the same reaction as yours, how?
Yes, that's my point. It's not at all necessary that how you reacted to a particular situation, others (especially, your parents) would react in the same way.
*
So, what could be done?
If the situation is like, you've already taken the decision and are waiting for your loved ones to support it, then, you as an individual can just wait for your loved ones to accept it, give them time to know that you love someone or, what your actual passion is. They'll surely accept it.
Then, if the situation is like, you want to decide on something and you want someone's advice to it then, properly analyze the positive and negative aspects of the thing. If the other person contradicts your point just don't start judging them like, "my mother never wants to see me happy, that's why she's denying," NO, give them some time and, then decide (YOUR PARENTS WILL NEVER WISH SOMETHING FOR YOU WHICH IS WRONG).
Always remember, your family will never wish which is wrong for you.
It's just that they've imagined something else for you and, you've imagined something else for yourself which you don't want to change for somebody else, that's what we think and, that's what "everyone" thinks, 'everyone' means 'everyone' your friends, parents, everyone.
So, try to give them some time maybe, their imagination would match with yours or your imagination would match with them. Anything is possible if given the right thought at the right time by the right person.

The phone rang, it showed, "Rudra Parekh" and I picked it up.
No 'Hello!', no 'hey!', he just started, "why do you think so loudly, Urva?" he asked in half-sleep, yes he calls me 'Urva', "your voice didn't let me sleep. And, from where did you get that book? Anyways, tomorrow you bring that book to the college and give it to me, I'll read it" he said and yawned, "and, kindly think a little softly, girl, you think so loud, I can hear every single word you were thinking."
"Why didn't you call me earlier if you had so much problem with me thinking?" I asked.
"How come you're able to speak so much at this hour too?" he asked, "Urva, go and sleep, and let me sleep too."
"Okay."
"And, don't bother your empty brain by thinking so much," he mocked.
"You... I'll kill you," I said.
"I love you too," he said, "now, sleep, good night!"

Writer's Note
What? One another philosophy lesson? The age we're in today, we all need that at some point. And, the "grown-ups" here, don't worry, I'll soon update something which y'all can relate to.
So, what I wanted to say is just that, give the person enough time to give a particular thing a thought, some people accept it early and, some take a lot of time.
