Part 3: Floating through

The bus ride to the airport sure did not feel like a regular excursion from middle school. Going to Paris, especially for the first-timers, was something so exciting that you could feel the adrenalin in the bus. Even though Violet hated bus rides, she always managed to forget about it thanks to Sunny as it was tradition to sit together on the bus.

"So, for the lip sync, I really wanna step my game up. I mean...look at all these ideas!" mused Violet with a rush of joy, scrolling through the dance side of Tik Tok. "I'm really proud of you for doing this Vi, but as your BFF I have to be the most honest butterfly of love", said Sunny, flinching to avoid hurting Violet's feelings, "you can't really...dance". It didn't take more than a second for them to get flashbacks of the buddy bubble boogy, they almost died of cringe. "You're forgetting one thing, Sunny: I always know a way around things", Violet said proudly, "now, enough talking and let's watch this new k-drama I found".

Meanwhile Jade, who's was sitting next to Ruby a few rows back, thought it was the right time to find out what Bella had to say, no take backsies. She had already promised herself she'll do it and a promise is a promise, plus Ruby was fast asleep, or probably listening to Rico Nasty at an incredibly dangerous volume, giving Jade enough privacy to open Bella's message:

Jade, I knew since our first night at Rainbow high that we had chemistry, a really strong one. My heart would melt every time you smiled, and I wished time would stop every time we touched, but ever since you learned my coffee order I knew that all I wanted to do was to be with you. I want you to know that when you told me I would find somebody who loves me the way I am, I knew it was you. I am madly, deeply in love with you, Jade, and I will always love you endlessly. Now that I know you feel the same, my life sucks a little less <3

Everything was perfect for Jade from the very second she began to read the text, as if her world became a heck of a lot brighter and colorful. Bella and Jade were in love, and nothing could change that, not even the fact that they were increasingly further away from each other.

And so the real trip began. After a long flight and yet another bus ride through the breath taking city of Paris, the first years of rainbow high were living the dream as they eyed the picture perfect sights of Paris. The surrealism hit in when they arrived to their luxurious hotel, where chosen pairs were assigned their rooms. The level of excitement around the students was so high that it was only a matter of minutes until everyone was done unpacking so they could head over to their first duty in Paris.

"As you all know, Fashion week begins tomorrow, that means you have the rest of the day to enjoy the beautiful Paris before the hard work begins", said Miss Morton, "With that said...Let's have some fun!". With no time to waste the first years scattered across the city at the speed of light. Violet's group and their sudden high level of energy were able to do most of the things they had in mind. From bike riding, to the Eiffel tower, to stopping by some Parisian cupcakes - Thanks to Amaya's sweet tooth. Time flew and their day came to an end just like that.
