It's been a couple of months since my mother got fired. Larry and I call everyday, he makes me feel better about myself. At the end of this month me and my mom have to move out.
I was on call with Larry talking about places to move to and writing them down. "Hey so I know this is crazy but..." he said. "But what?" I asked. He smiled "there's a job opening here in my apartment building for a second cleaning position, it comes with a free room..." he said with a bit of a persuasive tone. My eyes lit up "really!? That's sounds awesome!" I said loudly. "Also...there's something I've been meaning to ask you....." he said as his tone completely changed, he sounded nervous. "Yeah..? What is it?..." I asked. "I was wondering if you'd..maybe like to be more than friends?...like be my girlfriend?" He asked. My eyes widened. 'Oh my god, is this really happening?!' I thought. "Oh..um...sure!" I said with my face turning a crimson red. Larry blushed from behind the screen.
"So...what the apartments address?....." I asked. "Addison Apartments, in Nockfell" Larry replied. I smiled "well I'll call you back later...I have to tell my mom about the position..." I said sighing sad to go. "Awww ok....see ya.." he said before hanging up. I put my phone down and walked downstairs. "Mom!" I yelled excitedly. "Yes y/n?" She asked. "I found you the perfect job! It comes with a free apartment!" I exclaimed. My mothers eyes widened. "That is perfect, what's the job?..."she asked. "Part time janitor...there's one janitor there now but they need a second one." I said smiling at her. She gave me a big grin. "Send me the information and I'll apply" she told me before going to her phone.
I quickly run upstairs to grab my phone. I Message my mom the information for the job and location. I then text Larry
Y/n: "My mom applied!"
Larry: "That's great! I'll let my mom know her daughter is very special to me. ;)"
Y/n: "oh my god lmao ok"
I laughed and blushed softly.
