[Y/N] [L/N] used to know what happiness and love felt like. But that was before the the world ended. Before the apocalypse. Now she only knows trauma and fear. And no one, not one person, has made it any better. Until now.
Carol Peletier, during her siege of Terminus, found a lone girl in one of the railway containers. Battered, beaten, and bruised, the girl, [Y/N] [L/N], escapes from Terminus alongside Carol. Against better judgement (both hers and theirs), the group welcomes the girl into their ranks with less than opened arms. But over time, she learns to trust them and them her. But she still knows only trauma and fear.
It's only when she forms a friendship, an actual friendship, with the leader's son Carl does she begin to remember what love and happines felt like. Because all she has known so far is to hide. And he is the one to seek her out.
