PROLOGUE

"Objection your honor!" Hindi ko na napigilan ang inis ko. I saw him smirking at me, "Objection overruled. You may proceed."

I sat down in annoyance as he continues to interrogate the witness. F*ck palagi niya nalang akong kinakalaban. Shit!

After the trial pumunta ako sa office ko. I lazily sat on my swivel chair at hinilot ang sentido ko. I decided to read some cases when someone came in.

"Alyssa!"I called my secretary, "I said no clients!" I groaned in annoyance as the person who barged into my office walks closer.

I looked up to see Atty. Eros Garcia, my rival since college. "Hey, baby. Missed me?" I stood up immediately and looked at him with so much anger.

"Ano 'bang kailangan mo sa'kin?" He stepped closer. I felt his minty breath on my face.

Nang tumingala ako para sana singhalan siya, I was shocked to see our faces only an inch apart. Isang maling galaw ko maaaring mahalikan ko siya.

I can't stop myself from admiring this man's beautiful face. I lost my control and huli na nang nakita ko siyang nakangisi sakin. Then I realized I was staring at this man for a while now!

His smile widened when he saw my reaction. Tang-na talaga Aries oh! Pinapahamak mo lang sarili mo! You shouldn't admire him!

My breathing hitched when he leaned closer and whispered as I felt his breath on my neck, "Be ready, baby. I'll defeat you in everything."

With that, he walked to the door and glanced at me before leaving my office. I was there. Standing. Dumbfounded. Sh!t! Aries, you shouldn't feel intimidated! You intimidate people, not people intimidate you!
