a little adventure

chapter 4 the question

As the sun rises into dawn Oliver still found himself restless only getting 2 hours sleep he climbed out of bed and gets into the shower he began think that he normally had trouble falling asleep but never this bad.

He picked up the shampoo and dumped some on his head as his mind began to wonder losing track of time .
He continued his morning routine brush his teeth have a smoothie ect.

As he looked around alone he heard dead silence he quickly scramble to turn the tv on .

He smiled hearing the tv play quietly he looked down at his phone and gets board playing a few games waiting for al to wake up.
Half an hour later he heard al stumbling around upstairs the feeling of dread washed over him as his hair stands on edge. He stayed quiet as he heard al go about his morning routine as al walked downstairs Oliver stands up "hay"he said softly as he forced a smile .

Al smiled "morning "he said softly as he walked to the kitchen grabbing an apple "hay ollie I'm meeting up with lily and kiwi at the park wanna join ? "he said loudly as for Oliver to hear him from the kitchen

Oliver thinks for a moment "em sure!" He was unsure how he felt about kiwis ....unique hobbie but he brushed that thought aside as he walked to the kitchen to al sitting down drinking his coffee . Thay had a brief chat before being interrupted by Oliver's phone he picked up "hay vi 'he said softly

"Hay what's up "she said " Oliver smiled "nothing much "he responded " wanna grab a drink tomorrow?"violet asked . Oliver thinks for a minute " sure "he said softly before hanging up.

" what did violet have to say ?"al asked softly as he tilted his head "ah nothing "Oliver responded as he smiled " so what time are we meeting up with kiwi and......lily ?"he said softly . Al giggled " about an hour or two "he said softly .

After that nothing interested happened until thay arrived at the park . Al and Oliver looked around not seeing kiwi and lily .

The park was mostly a large open field with a few scattered benches , a couple icecream carts a small cafe and a gathering of trees .

Oliver looked around seeing many different types of cgs and littles crows foxes wolf among others .

"HAY!!!!! OVER HERE "Oliver and al turns around to see kiwi wearing a red t-shirt and black shorts that did nothing to hide the diaper he was wearing. Lily walked next to him wearing a bright yellow dress with baby blue highlights.

Al smiled as he and Oliver walked to kiwi and lily "hay what's up "al said happily as he smiled looking at lily .
Lily nodded at al al smiled "come on let's find a place to sit "he said softly as he began walking with the group following behind .

As thay approached a picnic table thay sat down lily sat next to al and Oliver took a seat near to kiwi.

There was a bright moment of silence between the group before lily pipes up "so Oliver what do ya do for a living?"she asked softly "oh ! Em well I'm a cook "he said as he avoided eye  contact with lily " ok do you work in a restaurant or a private cook ?"she questions "oh em I'm employed as a sous  chef I'm starting next week "he said softly as he looked down .

Lily rolled her eyes " stop avoiding eye contact with me its rude "Oliver looked up at lily glancing away . Al rolled his eyes as he began talking to lily   Oliver zoned out of the conversation as he looked at a mouse being pushed in a stroller by a crow .

Kiwi noticed Oliver staring and giggled "hay Oliver "he said softly almost a whisper . Oliver jumped wiping his head around to look at kiwi "y-yea ?"he said softly as he blushed softly. Kiwi smiled as he giggled "why are ya staring?"he asked softly Oliver became tomato red "I'm not "he whispers quickly "I was zoned out I wasn't looking "Oliver whispers clambering for an excuse "ok what are you two whispering about ?"al asked softly as he smiled "nothing !"Oliver blurted out without thinking raising his voice .
