chapter 5

Sunhwa clambered into her apartment completely exhausted. She spent her entire night trying to convince the police to let her cousin and his friend free. 

If this was Mark's first offense he would have been let go immediately but this just added on to the multiple others giving them a good reason to keep him. Luckily Sunhwa's major in prelaw came in handy.

Not paying any heed to her surroundings, Sunhwa languidly walked into her room falling into her bed drifting into sleep immediately.

She awoke several hours later to her loud alarm sounding. Annoyed, Sunhwa dismissed it and sat up. She was still very sleepy but sadly she had class. Luckily it was the last before she had the entire weekend off. 

Phone in hand, Sunhwa walked into her living room but froze noticing something was different. The trash had been picked up, floor sweeped and mopped and dirty laundry picked  up and in the process of being washed judging from the sound of the running washing machine. 

The entire apartment was as clean as when her and Jungwoo moved in. 

"W-What? Did Jaemin break in and clean?" Sunhwa asked herself. 

"Oh hey!" A voice sounded making her jump. "You're awake!" 

Not recognizing the voice, sunhwa slowly turned around to face a tall half naked male standing behind her.  

Startled, the girl ran to her kitchen screaming while grabbing the first item she could get a hold of. 

"W-WHO ARE YOU PAL?" she screamed holding up her makeshift weapon. "HOW DID YOU GET IN HERE?" 

The 'intruder' just stood there staring at her unfazed  by the frying pan she was holding in the slightest. 

"I-I HAVE THREE BROTHERS SIR SO I'M NOT  INCAPABLE OF BEATING A GROWN MAN'S ASS!" 

Still composed, the man took a step towards the girl causing her to move backwards preemptively till she couldn't anymore. 

"S-Stay back I'm warning you!" 

The man looked down  at his ring on his left hand noticing the stone turning a dark shade of black. Knowing exactly what that meant he looked up at the girl confused. 

"Why are you scared, girlfriend?" 

Ignoring the girlfriend part of his question, Sunhwa flung the pan at him with as much force as she could muster in which the man skillfully dodged. 

"I-ILL CALL THE COPS BUDDY!" 

"Please calm down," the man said trying to calm her down. 

"WHO ARE YOU?!" 

"I'm your boyfriend of course !" The man answered with a smile. 

"Boy what?" Sunhwa asked confused. "I don't have a-" 

Sunhwa's words trailed off as the events of the past two days flashed in her mind. The man's ring slowly changed from black to blue telling him it was okay to step closer. 

Sunhwa looked up at the man recognizing him as the robot that was delivered to her yesterday. She thought it didn't work but here it was standing and talking to her. 

She didn't get the chance to process what was happening before the doorbell started to ring. 

"I'll get it!" The robot announced happily before walking towards the door. Sunhwa's eyes widen at the thought of whoever was behind that door seeing him. 

What would they think of her if a half naked man who wasn't her roommate answered the door!

"Wait no!" Sunhwa yelled running after him.
