Jungwoo and Sunhwa walked down the street after they finished classes for the day drinking from their starbucks drinks. Jungwoo looked down at Sunhwa who was currently taking a sip from her passion fruit tea. It was currently noon so she had calmed down from this morning's events.
“Sunhwa?” Jungwoo asked, getting the girl’s attention. She hummed in response looking up at him. “You and Jaemin have known each other for a while right?”
She nodded, “Since we were kids why?”
“You seem pretty close,” He answered causing Sunhwa to nearly choke on her drink.
“Excuse me what?” She asked after calming from her sudden cough attack. “Close? Me and Jaemin?”
Jungwoo nodded.
“Na Jaemin? That Blue Hair flirt?”
“Yes him,” Jungwoo clarified. Sunhwa laughed.
“I’m sorry woo have you not seen us arguing and fighting every time we are near each other?”
“Sexual tension, that's all that is.” Jungwoo answered, taking a sip of his coffee.
“What the hell have you been smoking Jungwoo?” She asked, looking at him like he was crazy. What exactly made him think that she liked that asshole? “One, I hate his guts and two he’s not my type.”
“You have a type?!” Jungwoo asked, placing a hand over his chest in mock surprise. Every single guy his best friend had liked since he had known her were all completely different in personality and looks. There wasn't a single similarity in any of them besides being male that is.
Sunhwa remained silent. She couldn't argue with him because he was right. She didn't have one per se but Jaemin was the LAST person she would consider for a boyfriend. Hell she would date her best friend, whom she has no feelings for whatsoever despite how handsome he was, before Jaemin. Jungwoo laughed at her reaction before turning serious.
“You’ll find someone, sun.” He said, stopping to look at her. “Don’t worry so much.”
Sunhwa smiled at his words. She knew he was right but when?
Jungwoo looked at his watch and gasped.
“I have to go, will you be okay heading home alone?” Jungwoo usually walked her home after class but he had to go do something for his job.
“I’ll be fine,” She said smiling at him reassuringly. “Thank you.”
“For?”
“Being here as always.”
Jungwoo smiled and pulled her into a hug.
“What are best friends for.”
He let go and walked away waving at her. His orange hair flowing in the wind.

Sunhwa didn't feel like going home straight away so she decided to make a detour through the park. As she walked she noticed a bunch of happy couples having cute dates strolling through the park.
Sunhwa sighed.
Why did everyone have a significant other except her? Why didn't she have a boyfriend she could walk hand in hand with through the park? What was wrong with her? Why did everyone reject her?
‘At this rate I’ll die alone with a house full of cats,’ Sunhwa thought, her eyes widening in horror.
“NOOOOOOO!” She screamed out loud causing an elderly man who was walking by , look at her like she was crazy. Sunhwa stopped screaming and awkwardly waved at the man.
