See You Again, Tendou X Reader

Part 2

You quickly jump away from the window and it finally hits you what's happening. You're back home but you don't know what you are going to say to Tendou when you have to face him.
It's been one week and you have managed to dodge Tendou and never be outside at the same time as him. But you can no longer ignore him as school starts today. Thankfully you live close enough that you can walk so you don't have to worry about getting a ride.
The day goes by pretty peacefully because you are mostly not in the same classes as Tendou. Finally it is time for last class so you walk in excited to almost be done.
You groan at the sight of a seating chart up on the whiteboard. As you walk up to see where you are sitting you pray silently that you are sitting in the back. You let out a breath that you didn't even notice you were holding as you see you are in the back row. But your breath catches as you see who you are sitting next to. Tendou.
You slowly walk to the back row and silently curse to yourself.
You try to keep your head down but at the last second you look up at him on accident. He has this unreadable expression on his face as he watches you. You try to get him to look a way but he just keeps staring. Then you realize what's going. That isn't simply a unreadable expression but rather a blank one. He... Doesn't... Remember me? You think sadly.
You realize that he must have moved on unlike you. The class continues on and once the bell rings you shoot up and try to leave as fast as you can. Once you are out of the building you begin to speed walk until you are out of sight from the school.
You get a text from your mom telling you to get bread from the store so you head there. As you wander the aisles you think about how much you missed Tendou the whole time you were gone. It hurt so damn much to think about the fact that he could have forgotten about you.
You turn the corner quickly and suddenly run into a hard chest. Right before you fall to the ground you are held steading by a pair of strong hands on your waste. You quietly gasp and look up at the person who you ran into.
"Woah there, you alright" he says with a teasing hint in his voice. But his expression suddenly hardens when he see's your face. He shakes his head and walks away. At first you are excited because this means he actually does remember you, but you then realized that this also means he is in fact pissed at you. And you know he won't be getting over it anytime soon.
You stalk home and hand the bread to your mother. "You ow me four dollars for the bread" you mutter. Then you proceed to go to your room and finish unpacking one last box. This one though you never opened even when you moved away. It's was the box of all of your pictures and momentous of you and Tendou. While you were away it hurt to much to open the box so you never did. You decided that since you are home now you might as well open it. Your mind begins to drift as you see all of the pictures.

"Tendou C'mon we need to go" you were not going to be late to your first middle school dance. "Jeez I'm coming, I'm coming. Wait for me. Why are you in such a rush? Got a hot date? " He replies teasingly. "Well actually..." You say.
"Wait do y/n did someone ask you to the dance? I thought you said we were going together. I mean as friends of coarse"
"I'm so sorry Tendou I forgot to tell you. Ushijima actually asked me. Isn't he so hot! His dedication to volleyball is amazing"
"Mhm ya y/n he sooooo amazing" he replies sarcastically.
The next day Tendou tried out for the volleyball team and was forever dedicated.
Present time
You never realized that Tendou might have actually joined because you'd said that. "No no thats crazy. I could never influence Tendou like that" you say to yourself.
"Yes you could and you did" you mom says as she walks inside your room.
"What do you mean mom?"
"Y/n do you really not know? That boy has been in love with you since you were kids"
"Haha really funny mom" you say and slowly push her out of you room.
You slump back down and begin to think about this. The way he looks at you in these pictures, the volleyball, the jealousy he said was just him being protective. Was Tendou actually in love with you back then. Because he definitely isn't now.
