See You Again, Tendou X Reader

part 18.

You pull your stuff out of the car and carry them upstairs.

"This is your room," They say.

"Thank you, Ushi. I couldn't stand living across from Tendou any longer. It reminds me of when we were little and it just hurts too much."

"Of course y/n. I will always help you"

"Hey, do you remember our first middle school dance? Me and you actually went together!" You say a bit more upbeat.

"Oh ya! I totally forgot about that." He replies.

"Hey, Ushi?" You say softly, "Do you think Tendou was jealous that night?"

"Of course, no doubt. Why do you think I never asked you out again? Tendou was so jealous and I wanted us to all stay friends so I just didn't ask you out again" he says confidently.

"Oh really? You mean you wanted to ask me out again?" you say sarcastically flirting.

Ushijima immediately blushes and you smirk. "I'm just teasing you Ushi. Calm down. We're just friends and always will be" you say. 

"Damn I've been friend-zoned real hard" you hear mutter. Suprised you exclaim "excuse me?"

"huh? Oh, nothing" he finally says.

You realize that he doesn't think you know what he said so because you don't want to make another friendship ruined you just act like nothing's wrong. 

The next thing you know the weekend is over and you are having to go back to school. And that means facing Tendou. 

The first few classes aren't as enjoyable as they usually are. The dirty glares you get from everyone are un-ignorable. You hear the whispers too. Especially one conversation between two girls.

"Isn't she the girl who hooked up with Kuroo?"

"Ya but she was dating Tendou at the time"

"Wait the Tendou?!" The one you've been in love with for years?!"

"Yes! I was so excited when she moved but then she came back."

"Ugh what a slut"

"I know right?!"

Ushijima suddenly notices the two girls and you listening to them. He steps in front of them, glares and then walks over to you.

"Cmon let's go" he says before gliding you out of the door.

For the rest of the day Ushijima did his best at protecting you but you still heard the awful comments about you.

After school though Ushijima heads to the gym for volleyball an since you don't want to risk running into Tendou you decide to go home. As you are walking out the door two girls call you over from out on the front lawn.

"Hey come over here!"

You slowly walk over and ask, "what's up?"

"Did you really cheat on Tendou?" The first girls asks.

"And with Kuroo?" The second one does.

You sigh and decide to tell the truth. "I was extremely drunk at a party and yes me and Kuroo hooked up. But! I co fessed to Tendou and he broke up with me"

"Oh" one of them say.

You sigh because the way they reacted makes you think that they are just curious and not rude. But one interrupts your thoughts by saying, "jeez what are whore!"

"Excuse me?!" You exclaim

"You heard her" the other one replies.

"Oh bitch it's on" you say throwing your bag to the floor before walking over to her.

"I stand by what I said" this girl says "You literally cheated on the amazing and hot Tendou so that makes you a whore!"

"I'm sorry but only I can can call Tendou hot" you say, furry filling your voice.

"You can't tell me I can't because he isn't you man anymore" she says with a smirk.

"You don't want to go there" you reply matching her energy.

"Oh I do" she says.

Before she can say anything else you land a nasty punch to her jaw. Then another to her eye. She attempts to fight back but fails misserably and misses each time. You punch her in the stomach and she falls to the floor.

By now a small crowd has formed and they are all chanting, "Fight! Fight!" You bow before kicking the girl hardly into the stomach. She groans out in pain. Suddenly you feel a harsh pain to your head and you notice that she must have gotten one hit on you.

Suddenly she stands up and swings at you. You don't have the chance to respond in time so she hits you hard on the eye. This only pisses you off more and so you stop holding back. You uppercut her and take a swing at her right cheek.

Once again she falls to the ground and as she does you see Ushijima, Tendou, And the rest of the boy volleyball team. They must have seen the whole thing. You look at the girl one more time and once you determine that she is done you pick up you bag and leave.
