The day started normally for the two siblings. It was a school day and they just woke up to get ready for school. As they were arriving at the school they noticed something weird the bus was full of people that hadn't been on it yesterday. As the bus came up to the school the older of the two siblings looked into her brother's eyes and said: "Let's get inside quickly." After looking around he took his sister's hand and followed her into the school. As they passed through the office he noticed that some of the people around them that had gotten off the bus weren't people but monsters. They were monsters that they had read about in books but they always thought they were just myths. After trying to tell his sister about the monsters she turns to him and told him to stop playing around. He tried to keep telling her but she didn't believe him because he said he always saw a monster where there wasn't one. This was normal for him dogs seem to respect him. Quinn walked to her English class with her friend, Peyton. As they walked into the classroom their teacher Mrs. Carr looked up from grading assignments and had a monstrous look in her eyes. As Quinn and Lucas took their seats at the front of the class away from the teacher's desk. She called Quinn, Lucas why are you late! As she spoke with her sandpaper sounding voice the first bell rang.
