{6 month later}

Sherlock never made any fuss about what had happened between us. We worked case after case, side by side. We had faced Moriarty once again but had gotten rid of him for at least a long while, getting him locked up inside England's best prison.

While this all was happening my feelings for my partner grew stronger. The attachment grew larger. I couldn't help the way I felt, I couldn't help the need I had for him. But, I kept it all inside, not letting anyone see the feelings, not wanting to scare him away. My nights became restless and tiring, never getting sleep, usually only resting when I would pass out from the alcohol.

As I woke that morning, I laid in bed staring up at the ceiling. I thought of him, thought of us and how impossible it was. He was a man who could show no true kindness and I was a timelord with too much.

I sat myself up so I could see my face in the mirror. Dark circles hugging my eyes. I sighed and rubbed my face and jumped when my alarm went off. I smacked it to turn it off and then laid back heavily against the pillows, not wanting to face the day.

Just as I hoped maybe today I didn't have to go in I get a call. Lestrade. I pulled my phone out and answered groggily. "Song."
Lestrade had a shake in his voice. One filled with worry and fear. "Jess. We have a problem." He said sternly.
Jess rolled her eyes. "What's the problem?" I slowly pulled myself up and out of bed.
"Sherlock is gone, and Moriarty is back." He said as his voice broke.

I froze, my knees feeling weak. I ran to his room, praying to anyone that he was there. But as I opened the door I was staring at an empty bed, and an empty flat. She turned to the TV and saw the last man she wanted to see, Moriarty a smirk slithering across his face. "Hello Darling."

My hearts sank and I looked at the television in fear. "What the hell are you doing here?" I said quickly looking at the television.

He laughed. "Oh darling wouldn't you like to know. Where's little Sherl? Getting high I suppose, leaving little vulnerable you all alone." He smirked as footsteps were heard coming up the stairs. I looked to the door quickly and grabbed my gun.

"Moriarty leave us alone. How the hell did you get out of that prison?" I asked quickly and the door flung open and Moriarty stood there smiling as the TV screen went off. I pointed my gun directly at his heart, ready to fire and keeping very calm.

He laughed. "You don't scare me Jessica, you are nothing. To him, to me. You are a pawn, something that can simply be replaced. Now put the gun down so we can talk like adults." He smirked slyly. "Or I'll make you regret not listening to me."
